The bad: the macro keys mean that the spacing of the keyboard is off, which takes some time to get used to, and the keys are definitely not as responsive as I was hoping for. There is a bit of lag time between the keypress and when it makes it to the system that seems to be universal no matter what computer you use it on. This is minimal, though, and doesn't impact gameplay much.
The REALLY bad: Unfortunately, after a year of careful daily use (no liquid spills, dusted regularly, no food)the keyboard up and died on me. It simply stopped working, even after the usual off/on, driver updates, etc. I've requested information regarding the lifetime warranty through Azio, and edited review will largely focus on how they handle it at this point. If it turns out that Amazon and its affiliates don't constitute the sellers they will accept this warranty for, I will let people know.
The ratings so far:
Keyboard usability: Three stars (that spacing was really a pain, as it turned out, and the macro keys were less useful than I hoped)
Keyboard looks: four stars. It's a pretty nifty looking board.
Keyboard lifespan: Two stars. A year is simply unacceptable.
Customer service: We'll see.
Although I really don't like this keyboard in general, I do like the back-light on the keys.
Yes, it is cheap compared to many others however I think one would be better off buying a more expensive keyboard with less issues.
The keys are also a bit sticky and hard to type with. My backlight didnt work either. In the process of returning it. However i'm disappointed in the fact that I didnt get a prepaid postage like N. Welch "Momgyver" did in her review. I emailed the company about this, but the question was pointedly ignored.
Arrived at time, and in good conditions.
About the product, is great in every way, it look fantastic, have a nice sensation when u use it, and the backlight is cool.
Nice size, and weight, well, is a very good keyboard for the cheap price! Thats the best part.
