Bluetooth Connection Quick Guide -
First make sure the B66 Headphones are charged and then open the Bluetooth function on your Phone/Tablet and then press and hold the MFB Button, (the Large Button,) on the Left Headphone of the B66.
As you hold it you will first hear a multi note ascending tone which signals that the B66 are powered on. As you keep holding down the button a couple seconds longer your will hear a short double beep.
This will signal that the B66 are now in pairing mode. (You will also see the light on the Left headphone alternating Blue/Red.)
If you check your Phone/Tablet Bluetooth Function you should now see “B66” as an option. Tap on that and the B66 should connect.
Noise Cancellation Ability – To activate, push the ANC button (on the outside of the Right Headphone) to the “Up” position.
Also, Active Noise Cancelling will not eliminate all surrounding noise.
Most low frequency general noise around you will be eliminated by the waves created by ANC; However, ANC does not work as completely on high frequency sharp noises, so you may hear some of the higher, sharper sounds around you.
Noise Cancellation Function – Due to the waves created in Active Noise Cancellation you may hear some soft humming or fuzzy static when you have no audio playing or when you have the audio extremely loud.
PLEASE NOTE – Take care adjusting the Headphones as severe manipulation of the Headphones can damage them

Sound: Just awesome. Plugged in is better than via the bluetooth connection. The noise cancellation works and I mean it really works well (the button in the middle of the earpiece turns it on and off). Does it eliminate all exterior sound - no - but it does as good a job as top of the line headphones. I can hear the high treble notes just fine. Speech is terrific, especially with tablet and smartphone devices.
Bluetooth: It's pretty good. The pairing was simple - just follow the directions on the card in the case. I tested the bluetooth signal and walked about 40 feet away from the phone and it stayed connected. A few feet farther, it dropped. Amazingly, there was no degradation in sound quality until it dropped synch with the device. I connected it to my Kindle Fire in a couple of seconds and it worked just fine. No more cords!
Price: About 1/3 of the price of high end headphones like Bose and Beats. Not to shabby.
Comfort. These headphone are not around the ear but on the ear. They are adjustable and feel snug when set properly, i.e., they don't walk off the ear while moving around. The cushions are soft on the ear. I wore them for about 2 hours straight and my ears didn't hurt like other headphones do to my ears. With the long battery life, I didn't have to worry about recharging them anytime soon.
Design: Sleek design - they look expensive and cool. The cord, when used, has a stop/start button for playback or hanging up a call. The headset has volume control buttons that work in the bluetooth mode. They didn't seem to work when using the cord attachment - maybe it's just me.
Item comes with awesome headphones, a male-to-male cord that plugs into the headset and device. Make sure that you connect it properly - the end that has the playback button closer to the end goes into the headset. The longer length goes into your device. It also comes with a nice, sturdy case and a USB charger for the phones.
I read about 30 reviews of different headphones and ended up picking these and I am completely satisfied so far.
Today they broke (see picture). I was simply getting them out to place on my head. There was no snap, they just quietly broke. It's clear head piece is too weak ("cheap plastic crap"). I would strongly advise against buying these headphones. Unless of course you have a tiny head.
-Uses metal in some construction
-Padding is decent and reasonably comfortable
-Audio is clear, crisp, doesn't distort easily
-Can be used wireless (Bluetooth) or wired (standard 3.5mm audio cable; included)
-Uses a universal charging standard (microUSB port)
-Buttons are firm and easy to use, well-made
-Comes with a hard-shell carrying case
-Not all construction is metal; headband will break (internal structure is plastic)
-Become uncomfortable after moderate use (40 - 60 minutes)
-Bluetooth audio lacks depth; audio distorts at highest volume levels
-Noise-cancelling comes with a design flaw (see below)
-Gives no indication of battery level at a device-independent level
-Does not meet advertised battery life expectation
-Forward/Back track buttons double as volume control
-Comes with a hard-shell carrying case (it's a 'Pro', but it's also a warning; see below)
Would Recommend: NO
Seems really well-built at first glance. The outer portion of the cups are made with the same metal (presumably aluminium) as the headband APPEARS to be made of (the exposed portion of the cup arms is metal). The audio is decent, though lacks "oomph". Bluetooth connection is solid, and often works around corners and up to 70ft away. Included audio cable is nice, seems well-made (though my vacuum's beater brush quickly disassembled it a couple weeks ago). Not the most comfortable headphones ever created, but for the features and price, that's not surprising. These begin to cause discomfort on my ears after about 40 minutes of continuous use.
Battery life is not as good as advertised. My set would generally last about six to eight hours when used via Bluetooth with Noise Cancelling turned on most of that time. Using in Wired mode with Noise Cancelling, generally about eight hours. Audio quality is definitely better when used with a cord instead of Bluetooth.
Here's the reasons for the two stars:
1. Bad Headband (Design Flaw; Severe Issue)
I've owned my set since April or May, so about 7 or 8 months, and I use them almost every day at work (open-office environment that's terrible for concentration). Two days ago, one side of the headband (inside the black padded portion) broke, leaving it "floppy". I "fixed" this by scavenging the steel core band from a couple of old telephone headsets and zip-tying them to this headband. Today, the other side of the headband broke. I'll have to reconfigure my "fix" for this when I've got the time to do so. FULL DISCLOSURE: I did not use the included hard-shell carrying case due to its bulkiness, but would rather place them as-is inside my backpacks, usually kept in a separate compartment from other items.
2. Noise-Cancelling Design Flaw (Design Flaw; Moderate Issue)
The noise-cancelling works decently. I've never had a set of noise-cancelling headphones before, so I don't really have anything to compare them with. HOWEVER, I did notice that if you cover the microUSB, microphone, and audio cable ports, the noise-cancelling performance improves dramatically. Because of this, I keep Scotch tape over these ports on my headphones, ghetto-fying them for no reason other than to correct a design flaw I shouldn't have to compensate for.
3. Track Controls Double as Volume Control (Design Flaw; Minor Issue)
Because Vol Up/Down is a function of holding the Forward/Back track controls, attempting to adjust the volume often results in changing tracks or episodes of a podcast. A separate control method would be preferable (in my opinion) to this combined approach.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend them unless you don't mind modifying them to make up for flaws in basic design. At this price point, I would suggest saving your money towards something a bit better down the line. If you're ginger with your headphones and/or don't mind constantly using the hard-shell case that comes with these, then they may be a good option for you, since the audio is pretty decent for the price point. I won't be buying another pair, though.
