This game proved a couple of hours of fun for the kids as well and my wife and I.
Overall i'd recommend this game to anyone with a child of any age.
My kids were so excited to get this!
We opened the box right away and took everything out. It was pretty easy to set up.The kids had fun helping put the blocks in the big middle piece. They chose their characters and picked the colored ball they wanted. They loved being able to shoot the ball from the character itself. They had fun trying to knock the red ones onto the opponent's side. Their favorite part was shooting the balls and watching the blocks getting knocked down. They played for hours once we got it put together. It took about 15 minutes for me to get everything together (it was the first time played and I was following the step by step instructions so nothing got messed up or left out) The box recommends age 6 and up. My 4 year old played it. He understands how to play so he loves it!
I do recommend this for hours of fun!
Thunder Dracyan (The blue blaster) was in absolutely terrible condition right out of the box. The plastic looked faded with an array of flash (molding errors) on the majority of components, not to mention poor decal application. It looked more like a dollar-store knock-off than a retail release from a toy making giant like Hasbro. It functioned fairly well, however, although I can't shake the feeling that it would break from the sheer stress of launching the marbles, which is sad considering that's the main function of the toy. This one features a rubber strip on the bottom that causes the marbles to spin when shot. This is supposed to make the shots more powerful, but the difference is barely noticeable.
Lightning Dravise (The white blaster) was in slightly better condition. Sticker were applied with an acceptable amount of accuracy, the plastic looked notably better, and felt a lot more sturdy overall. This one's major feature is wheels. Lots of them. There are wheels by the trigger, inside the firing mechanism, at the front, and on the feet, which are all there to make shooting marbles quickly easier. The function inside the shooting mechanism is quite nice, although I do think that it gives the user of this blaster an unfair advantage. The wheels on the feet that are designed to allow it to roll back-and-forth on the play surface seemed practically useless due to how little friction they have on most surfaces. It would be just as easy to slide around without the wheels.

so excited upon opening and couldn't wait to play with it. This added
to his collection and seems to be a good choice.
