I'm apple shaped and have gained a little weight in my middle but I have thin legs so I ordered an XL. The leggings fit me well all around. The only negative is they're actually a little long in length. Usually things are shorter on me. I'm 5'7 and I'm right on the edge of regular and tall length. Never could wear tall (always too long on me) so I have to be careful wearing regular and hope it doesn't shrink. I guess you could say this was a happy negative. As for other reviewers stating that the leggings collect lint and hair. Sure maybe some but nothing like I read about. I almost didn't purchase because of that but thought I would take a chance. I have two long haired dogs that shed alot and so far I haven't had any issues. I find the leggings very comfortable and warm. Happy I took the chance.

These are great leggings for the colder weather. The fleece lining is very soft and comfortable against your skin. They are not too bulky either! Great for layering under paints or snow pants or even by themselves. The waist is a little tight but not constricting. The quality is great too! Definitely would recommend these. Update: As the weather gets colder I tried another warmth test with these leggings. I paired the leggings in 15 F degree weather with a pair of jeans while running morning errands. Worked perfectly keeping my legs warm while pumping gas and dashing in and out of stores. These leggings just keep getting better for me. They are great on their own for wearing around the house on cold days since we tend to use fireplace heat as opposed to the whole house heating system and areas in the house are colder than others. I said below I was contemplating buying a third pair…and now I have a third pair!

I’ve finally found fleece lined leggings that fit and keep me warm. I’m 5’2” and 113 pounds and size small fits perfectly. I tested the warmth by wearing my leggings on my daily walk/hike in 34 F degree weather. While I could still “feel” the cold, it wasn’t the penetrating, biting cold I’d feel if I were wearing unlined leggings. The extra layer of protection from the cold was just right. I bought the three pocket version and glad I did. The pockets on the legs are deep and kept my cell phone in place without worry of falling out. The pocket at the waist band is roomy as well; plenty of room for ID, money, credit card, keys, etc. After testing these out on a cold morning, they have my seal of approval. They laundered just fine and hanging them to dry is not an issue for me since I do this with a lot of my laundry anyway. I’ve ordered a second pair and contemplating buying a third because I just really like them.

Very comfortable. Not see through. Light fleece lining it's very soft and cozy.
A tiny baggy in the crouch area but are fine to wear alone or as a base layer.
Not super wind or water proof alone but as a base layer they help keep the wind out just fine.
They taper at the ankle for a "skinny" fit and are stretchy enough in the right areas so they don't flatten the booty at all. THEY HAVE POCKETS! hehe actual decent sized pockets, they have a strange tapered point so chapstick might get lost deep on the pocket but not a big deal.
I'll probably get two more pairs for this winter. They're great to hike and bicycle in on 35° nights so far.
