Do you occasionally need a DSLR camera bag, but don't want to spend $100 on a dedicated one? The DSLR Camera Paddy is for you. We designed this padded camera compartment to slip right into the main compartments of the Hauler Hybrid, Hamptons Hybrid or Industries High-Back Messenger. It easily converts one of our laptop bags into a full blown DSLR camera bag without spending a small fortune. Sorry, doesn't quite fit into our Expandit Messenger. Available in Orange and Blue colors.

It's a little tall for my needs since it's made for a larger DSLR. I will probably add padded inserts on the bottom so I can store less frequently used items on the bottom, under other gear.
Construction quality seems adequate. It's somewhat stretchy too. I'm rather pleased with this product. The only one thing I'm not sure of is that there is no velcro to close the top flap. I would actually have to travel with it to see if that turns out to be an issue.
Keep in mind that there is no internal structure to keep this rigid, this is a soft case. It actually comes folded flat in an envelope.
When I first received this, I loved it! However, after working with it for a while, it has started to sag, the dividers have become so worn that the velcro doesn't really stick well and I feel like I just end up piling my gear on top of each other. I finally broke down and bought a timbuk2 insert and can't get over the difference. Don't waste your time on this and go with the timbuk2.
Older, now out of date review:
I have gotten so tired of trying to find the perfect camera bag, that I put together my own. I was a domke user for years, but my bag was literally falling apart and I couldn't find another domke I liked as much. This insert is perfect for the canvas bag I chose when putting together my own system. I shoot weddings and use mainly prime lenses, so I needed something that would keep my gear safe and be easy to get in and out of quickly.
For starters, the bright yellow makes it easy for me to see inside the bag, rather than hunting in a black hole, I can easily see what I am looking for.
I work out of this bag and a roller, so when I'm working, I have two bodies on me and then my 70-200 2.8 in the center pocket and can fit 2 flashes, 3 pocket wizards and 2 more primes in the bag.
For storage, At the end of the day, can fit a pro body with small prime In the center compartment, two flashes on one side and two stacked primes on another pocket (I keep an old divider from another case to separate them. The remaining pocket holds 3 pocket wizards perfectly.
I don't keep used memory cards in the memory card slot, but I usually keep two smaller spares there, just incase, and one has never fallen out. I can also fit two aa 4 packs in a case in the larger mesh pockets. My only complaint would be that I can't fit a spare camera battery in the mesh lots, without having to give up a aa pack.
Overall, this is a great, durable, easy to use divider system for the working pro.
