Spring-powered airsoft guns are single-shot devices that use elastic potential energy (EPE) stored in a spring to compress air to launch an airsoft pellet down the barrel of the gun, It's fast, clean, inexpensive and easily maintained, it requires no gas or batteries to operate, The user must cock a spring gun prior to each shot, This is typically achieved by pulling back the slide (pistols), bolt (rifles), or the grip on a shotgun, which in turn compresses the spring and makes the gun ready to fire, Spring Airsoft Guns are the toughest, most durable of all Airsoft Guns, because they're made with few breakable pieces, If you are looking for something fun, and reliable you have come to the right online retailer to buy it from, not to mention we are the CHEAPEST on the Net.

I don't really have anything bad to say about this gun. It is the best pistol I have, and it is definately worth the price! I am very impressed with this gun. I would highly recommend it!
But, if you like to have some 'plinking' airsoft guns around for fun, I'd say you'd be fine to get this one. First of all, this model, as noted in the description, has a built-in hop-up. If you're not familiar with this, it's a little device in the barrel that puts a backspin on the BB as it's fired. What this does is help to stabilize the BB, and actually give it a little lift as it leaves the barrel. This helps get you a bit more accuracy and range. I put this side by side with a similar priced Crosman springer - the Crosman was more powerful, but this was more accurate and shot the same BB further. The Crosman fired BB's took a nose-dive much sooner.
This is not a super powerful gun. I tried 3 different BB's (.12g, .20g and .25g) against a cardboard box. Again, up against the Crosman. The Crosman blew through the box with the heavier BB's, this model made a dent and bounced off.
The gun is all plastic construction (with an exception, stand by for that) with a cheap-looking 'stainless steel' sticker on the top of the slide. I'd say leave that thing off of there - it's not needed and I think an all-black gun would have looked better. There is a point on this gun that really stands out and that's the BB magazine. This this is made of metal and accounts for at least half the weight of the gun. This is the kind of magazine I've had on more expensive models. It's really impressive for a gun in this price range. My Crosman's magazine doesn't come close to the quality of this one. 5 stars for the magazine on this gun.
If this gun had the same power as the Crosman, it would be a 5-star gun in this price range. As it is, it's not as powerful as I would like, but I don't regret the purchase. As long as your expectations fit the price, you're good to go.
