This works quite well although it would be better if the side arms stuck out more. I have a leather case with a clasp on my phone. I have to fold all that behind to see the screen. This of course creates bulk. My phone hasn't fallen out but it looks really precarious. The forks at the back slide into the heat grille then the little lever at the side of the forks twists round to secure it. This isn't effective with a large heavy phone.
It does fall to the side with mine too which is a much cherished iphone 5.

I bought two of these holders. The first one had flanges that wouldn't expand and I broke it trying to extend them. I took it apart to see why it wouldn't expand and noticed that it had some very thick lubricant that was supposed to make it more mobile. I purchased a second holder and put it next to a light bulb to soften up the lubricant. I used a table knife to gently expand the flanges and after some effort, got both flanges to open to the proper width for my phone.
I is a good holder and except for the unfortunate breakage on the first model, I'm pleased.

I was looking at a new phone mount when we bought a new car and was instantly taken with not having to put a mount on the dashboard or window of a brand new vehicle. Even though I ended up returning this, it was a good product, just not what I needed. I was surprised with how stable the mount was when placed in the vent. Big enough to hold my 7+ just fine without worrying about it falling out. It would worry me if you live somewhere cold and have the heat on how much heat you would be blowing straight onto your phone but if that isn't an issue for you this is a great solution to many mount issues in cars

I recently purchased this phone mount for my iPhone 7+ to be used with my 2017 Civic EX-T Coupe, and while it "technically" works, the mount does not feel that strong and i'm worried about the longevity of the device. I will disclose that i'm not a fan of the "magnets" as they require you to stick a permanent fixture to your device that interferes with cases and potentially "voids" Apple's "iPhone Upgrade Program" terms of service since the device is leased and you're making a permanent change to the equipment. That being said, I would have happily paid $20 - 30 for a higher quality device like this that fit better in the vents (maybe multiple vent attachments?) that had a stronger hold for heavier phones.

It's a phone mount. It works. It's not something I can really get excited about; however, I have been using it for over a month and haven't had any problems with it. Everything is still functioning properly, so I can say that it is well made. I don't have to constantly mess with it, which is nice.
I like some of the features such as the bottom cradle with some space for the lightning cable and the adjustable vice like sides - which makes it convenient if I were to get a new phone, different sized phone.

This is the best thing ever! I thought I wouldn't really use it, but I use it all the time. It keeps me from looking down at my phone while driving when I used it for directions. I love it! I have an iPhone 7 Plus and it fits perfectly.

This was pretty good, unfortunately though the "shelf" on the bottom of the mount interfered with my ability to plug things into the bottom of my phone. If your audio jack is on the top of your phone it won't be an issue, but that was not the case with me. Also, although it fit great in the air vents of my car, I drive an older van for work (which was my primary purpose in ordering this), and in the case of this older van the individual air vents are too close together for this to fit properly. For these reasons it didn't suit my purposes and I returned it, but if your car is less than 20 years old and if your audio jack is on the top of your phone, it will probably suit you just fine.

** UPDATE**
Their customer service department reached out to me almost immediately after I posted my review! They have shipped me out a replacement. With this type of service Im sure that the product must be just as outstanding and am looking forward to trying it out once again.

This works really well and is well made. I only took 1 star off because, if you have a smaller car (I have a 2005 Honda Civic) the prongs are really too big for your vent -- I really had to jam it into place, and I think I would break it if I had to take it on and off frequently, If you have a bigger car with larger vents, this would probably be perfect.
