Living in Fairbanks, Alaska demands the best when it comes to cold weather gear. It gets down to -40°F and colder almost every winter. Last year I bought my first pair of Bearpaw boots, they were more Ugg-style than these, but HOT DAMN. They were the warmest boots I've ever warn in my life, and believe me when I say I've tried the best brands out there. It's all we buy up here in the Frozen North. Unfortunately last spring my beloved cat felt the need to piss in them, and there was no saving them. I've had my eye on THESE boots for a couple months now, plotting what to replace my other pair with. Now that they're here, I'm SO happy I bought them. They're amazing quality, nothing wrong with them at all. I picked at the clasps (seems to be common damage in the reviews) and they are very sturdy. Yes they are snug for sure at first but you have to let them squish down and form to your feet. They're fluffy wool on the inside, give them time. They fit true to size. Overall I'm extremely happy with these babies, and now I'm looking forward to colder weather, even though I HATE the cold, just so I can wear these and love them even more. ALSO- buy the protectant sprays, they really help keep the outsides looking nice!

I got a product that looks (probably is) a knockoff. My boots look NOTHING like what is pictured for sale! The material is not even leather, it is leather like... it doesn’t even have the same details as what is shown (I posted what was listed for easier comparison.) on top of that, the white foam stuff between the upper and the black rubber sole was already squished, it looks as if they were already on someone before they shipped. The shoes look like they are going to slump down as soon as I put them on. In fact, the one I tried on did! I don’t even have the cute suede back with the thumb rings to pull on my boots. The “elastic” shoestrings aren’t even the right ones; the shoestrings that came on what I purchased are so short I can barely tie them. The sheepskin interior just looks like glued on fibers. I’m beyond disappointed that this knock off made it to my door. The best part of it all was that it was scheduled to arrive by 9pm... I received them at 9am... just in time because we had a snow dump and I needed boots! The bad part?! I AM RETURNING THEM NOW! Perfectly on time for nada. Usually I have zero problems with items on amazon. I’m always satisfied. This time... I’m really not. I was so excited and after I had seen pics of other women who had a great experience... I’m sitting here a little bummed because I just wanted some good snow boots. Lol. Buyer beware. I should have just ordered off of the actual website and spent a few extra bucks more to get what I ACTUALLY wanted/needed.

I love these boots so much. I ordered some muk luks that were a joke and decided to spend the money and order these which were a little nicer. They are fantastic. They are warm and kind of bulky but light weight so they do not feel like you are lugging around moon boots on your feet. I went with a 9 as I was scared they would be too tight in a size 8. The 9 is a little big in my foot they are very stiff firm boots not a floppy style. I have roof to fit a thick sock in. The leg fits me perfect. I might have been able to get by with the eight but I didn't want to chance it. I live in Idaho and we get a crap ton of snow. So I will be ordering these in other colors so I can wear them throughout the season.

UPDATE FROM NOV 2016: well. Its the end of January and while I absolutely LOVED and rated 5 stars when I got these not even 2.5 months ago...the laces have pulled the side clasps out and I'm left with mostly unlaced, sloppy looking boots instead of the beautifully functional and feminine ones I had thought I'd bought. . . oh, and they don't handle ice well AT ALL. I liveinan icy area and no way. Its like I am in slippers. Sigh, so I hate coming back to change a review, I never have before..
But buyer beware...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DON'T BUY THESE BOOTS. THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW... 😢😢😢😢😕😕😕
SO SOOOOOO disappointed. I loved these so much.

These are almost perfect. They are super cute, and super warm and comfortable - I went outside in snow and 15 degree weather once with just the boots and no socks and was perfectly content. They are snug enough to not wear socks at all and not have my feet slide around, but they will also accommodate thick winter socks without pinching or feeling too tight (seriously magical).

I live in Michigan, so definitely got some good snow and ice to test them out and they performed very well - the tread kept me from slipping very much, and allowed me to catch myself before falling the couple times I did slip. The waterproof exterior and height (top of my calf) made sure my feet stayed dry and nothing fell down into my boots.

I did have one issue, but not enough to take a star away in my opinion - after a couple times of lacing them up, a couple of the eyelets started coming loose, but have not fallen off - I just have to be more careful tightening the laces, it doesn't affect the efficacy of the boots at all!

While the quality of the boots seemed really good, and they looked both warm and attractive, the size 12 I received fit like a 10 or 11, with a really small toe area, which makes for frozen toes in a winter boot! I was annoyed at having to return them at my expense, since the sizing was wrong, and I had been willing to pay the usual premium for an "oversized" women's boot when I ordered them. If you order them, get at least a size up, and you may be happy with them.

I don't write reviews often - but I love these boots!! They are very well made - the quality is superb. I haven't worn them outside yet, but I don't doubt for a second that they will be very warm & waterproof. I live in central Canada so our winters are very cold. Not only are they practical - they are beautiful as well!! I take a 7.5 so I ordered an 8 (no half sizes) and they fit perfectly.

I'm normally a size 8 but from what I read from the reviews they all said to buy one size bigger. I did that bought a size 9 and they were way to big! I ordered a size 8 and they fit like a dream!!! My mom lucked out cuz she's a size 9 so she got these awesome boots!
