Overall Like the Stepper!

I was debating keeping this or not and in the end decided to keep is. I wanted a stepper you can stand with and sit down. It’s made to stand up, but is set in an easier setting I can use it sitting down as well. My negatives are the platform for your feet the bumps hurt beat foot. So you have to wear shoes or the bottom of your feet hurt. The arm bands are worthless unless your are over six feet tall. There is no curling at all, to much stretch for me. I will be using the stepper but not the bands. One other thing, I wish the adjustment for the easy to hard setting was easier, besides a twist nob. But for someone working from home and sitting all day, this is what I was wanting. I got a sit down elliptical bike type for under the desk and I like the stepper better, get more of an workout. I wish it was a little cheaper but overall I was happy with the stepper!

I NEVER write Amazon reviews, but felt that I HAD to for this product because it is PHENOMENAL - great quality, easy to set up and use, and not at all as awkward as I thought it would be!! I'm able to get my 10,000 steps in without going outside in the rain, I'm even using it now as I write this review at my standing desk. Can totally feel my body heating up from the work (without feeling gassed or exhausted!) and the twisting motion is GREAT - definitely better than the steppers that just go up and down. Easy to balance on as well, no need at all for handles or something to hold on to while using.

For the price, this is a STEAL. I'm beyond happy that I bought this and can see myself using this every day - especially on lazy mornings when I don't want to go outside or even while watching TV at night. High quality build, easy to pick up and move from room to room, simple, fun, and effective!!

I hate Sunlight

This thing is pretty awesome. Great construction all the way around, and gets my heartrate up. Feels like an elliptical to me. I'm a fat dude, over 315. This thing is holding up so far in the first month, I use it for about 5 to 10 mins three or four times a day...what's most impressive is that is doesn't hurt my knees. My knees are pretty messed up and they "feel it" (as do the tops of my legs, my calves, my ankles and my stomach) but they don't hurt like if I go for a an aggressive walk. I had been working out, got down from 385, saw my weight go back up once the gym closed, got this thing, and now I'm on my way back down. Full disclosure, i have a bowflex but it doesn't help burn the way a walk or some kind of cardio machine does.

The arm thingies work pretty well, but so does practicing reloading an AR15 or practicing concealed draw while you're working the Stepper.

Not great for extensive use

For the price, this lil stepper works okay. The issues I have with it:

1.) The hydraulic pumps have an air bubble which makes adjusting the tension impossible (it's just consistently easy no matter how much I try to up the resistance)
2.) I work out on it 4-5 times a week, 30-50 min. per session, and I've been using it for about 3 weeks. Already, the joints are starting to fuse together from the heat of extended use, and it was squeaking like no tomorrow until I sprayed a bit of lubricant on the bolts.

Overall, I'm not surprised at the quality given that it's only 60-something dollars. If you're an avid exerciser and you can afford it, you may want to splurge on a larger/more quality item. Otherwise, step on it for as long as it can bear it (like I am).

I wanted something that was small, portable and would be able to work my bum and legs. This product seemed to make the cut. It offers a larger stride than the little under the desk elliptical. I'm 5'3" 120 lbs so I was able to get a good work out from using it. Others that are taller and heavier may find it more challenging to use. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it doesn't offer much in resistance levels. It comes with only ONE resistance level and you can adjust the stride by loosening or tightening the knob.

Something different to do while sheltering in place. Will bring on a bit of a sweat but not so good at raising the heart rate. I’m 5’1” so cables don’t provide enough tension for a great upper body workout experience a traditional dumbbell would work better. Beware more than 20 min and the pistons are HOT....don’t know how long this will last due to the heat factor. Heavy construction a bit loud. Thankful I have something.... longing for the return to the gym! All that to say this a good purchase!

Love it but loud squeak

I've only had it for 2 weeks and really like this machine, great for just jumping on it whenever I feel like, even for a few minutes. And the option the resistance bands is nice too.

But within a few days it started to squeak pretty loudly, so my husband put some WD40 on it, which helped, but now, a week later, it's already starting to squeak again. It's pretty loud and distracting, there's not many places I can use it in our apartment. In the evenings, after our daughter goes to bed, I don't want to use it for fear of waking her, and it's distracting to my husband who'd trying to decompress.

Any suggestions on how to fix it other than continuously using WD40?

This mini-stepper is simply the best out there. It is extremely well constructed and cool looking. It has a good range of motion and a natural movement to each step. It is a very professional looking piece of equipment, especially considering the price. It is newer than the The Sunny mini-stepper so there are less reviews on it. The Sunny mini-stepper is also very well constructed and light weight but still solid. It is an excellent choice. One advantage it has over this one is the size. It is smaller and more light weight. It can fit under a bed whereas the Beouzo cannot. However given the overall appearance, general feel of the machine and quality, I would have to give The Beouzo Stepper first place.
