We often drive long road trips, so being able to charge cell phones and a laptop became a necessity. This worked perfectly. Its design allows to to be plugged in yet stay well out of the way. The 2.1 amp USB port easily handles mu wife's iPhone, while the 1 amp USB takes care of my Samsung Galaxy. The 75 watt 110 volt ac receptacle provides enough power to recharge a laptop. It is only rated up to 75 watts so you don't really want to plug in anything that requires a lot of electricity, but for what we use it for, it's perfect.

It is quiet, unlike others that run a little obnoxous fan that goes no matter what, all the time. I live in a camper van so you get the idea! It is tight at the flex point, very well made. I hope it lasts. I will probably by a spare I think it is that good.
