A power supply of a printer (rated 72W, 110v) got damaged first. Second I plugged it in to a air filter which is rated at 70W as well, it runs very slow. Then I plugged a charger of a game console (rated at 5W), didn't work at all. When I checked the voltage output while the load is connected, it shows 76 V AC which is about 30% less than the voltage it supposed to be.
Customer service or technical support was not able to help me.
Do not recommend this product to anyone at all.
After going back on amazon in an attempt to write a review warning users of the disaster and to complain to the company, I found that the review page had suddenly been flooded with 1 star reviews for all the recent posts. All recent reviews had posted problems with it, and it was destroying their electronics.
A few days later, the product page was completely removed from amazon, most likely due to the constant complaints and bad reviews. Looks like now the product is back up and with a 4.5 star rating?!?!?! You've got to be kidding me!!! Even if the seller has resolved the issues with the previous batch, removing all those previous reviews to show a "clean slate" is unfair and misleading to customers.
Buyers be warned, there was definitely a product batch that was bad. If you have any equipment to test the voltage to confirm its indeed converting the voltage to 110v, USE IT FIRST. Don't risk blowing out any expensive electronics if you can help it. The seller is also being shady as heck removing and relisting the product to have a clean review slate, trying to get rid of all evidence of their mishap. Who knows how many destroyed electronics, fires caused, or customer injuries have from this product.
Just look at the reviews of the SAME product they listed on a different page!

If you are a USA traveler, with USA 110 V devices you use every day, and you want to use these devices overseas you will need the POWER CONVERSION feature of this BESTEK device since many non-USA countries use different power outlets (hence the need for the various plug types on this adapter) AND the outlets are 220 Volts, hence the need for the power conversion.
Don't fry (I mean literally burn with smoke enough to set off a hotel's smoke detector) your phone, GPS device, or other electrical devices. Without the power conversion of this BESTEK adapter it will happen.
I used this on multiple trips in 2014 from USA to the UK, and various EU countries with no problems. Worked great.
Take note of the warning in the description of this product. It is NOT TO BE USED by devices that pull a lot of watts such as hair dryer, iron, etc. Think of any device that produces heat even a small one-cup coffee brewer or something that heats a cup of water for tea.
I would buy again.
UPDATE - On Amazon there is another VERY SIMILAR BESTEK device that DOES NOT convert voltage. My review is for MODEL MRJ301EU. The one that does NOT CONVERT and will fry your USA devices is MRJ300EU.Read more ›
