I'm pretty sure the product is fine. Mine was top quality and a great value. But I really recommend leaving pro tools to the professionals. I tried this for milia extraction and I ended up with some very odd shaped bruises on my face and 2 new pimples.
I don't blame the tools. That would be like blaming a hammer for a poorly built house. But DIY videos can be misleading. For my intended use it really requires a dermatologist. I strongly recommend that for anyone before they go ahead and poke holes in their face. Tools are fine, but operators require expertise.

You have to be careful with these. They'll definitely get some gunk out of your face that you wouldn't be able to get at otherwise, but if you're too rough they can leave red marks and even bruises on your skin, and I generally find that my skin gets worse after using them, even if I did manage to squeeze a bunch of stuff out. Make sure you know what you're doing before you use.

First, the construction is not as good as other brands I have had. For example, the diameter of the loops are too thick which means it does not extractor as easily. Quality extractors will have a thinner but durable diameter that allows the loop to reach the bottom of the pore and easily push the sebum out. This product does not.

That is a minor concern. Immediately after using it, my face turned bright red and wherever I touched my skin with the extractor was bumpy. I have sensitive skin. I also have other extractors I bought from Revlon and Sephora, which are both stainless steel, and have never had this type of reaction.

They don't accept returns, which is sketchy. While I understand there is hygienic component to these products, if it's faulty, the company should stand behind it and take it back. I'm totally losing trust in Amazon's vetting process.

My boyfriend has terrible acne and I decided to get these torture tools on his acne (LOL)! These things do their job, but DANG they HURT!!!! If you have sensitive skin (like me) don't buy, I'd much rather pop my pimples/black heads with my hands, because it hurts less. BUT this does do the job well and I've noticed how little blackheads and pimples come back around the spots I work on when I use this on him.

This product is okay, I've used these sets before and it bought this because my set finally broke after 5 years of heavy use. The bars that you use to pop the pimples are a little thick actually their twice as thick as my other set so it will take some getting use to but I love all the functions and the fact that the bars are thick will make it last longer. I love rose gold so that's why I bought that one as well. I also love the fact that it comes with a needle and it dosent hurt at all to use. But it's going to take me a little while to get use to some of the tool heads are square which is odd and which is why it's getting 4 stars but everything else is 5 stars. But that's most likely just user error. I would recomend this set too especially if you have huge boil pimples which I wound up getting on my stomach that hurt and i wish I had this but I finally got it and it's pretty cheap the metal isnt flimsy though. Again would recomend. Only thing I would suggest is putting a travel mirror in the top of the storage case and I would totally pay more money for just that.

I have always wanted to buy a blackhead extracting tool but I have always been skeptical about how it would be more effective than simply squeezing the comedones out... BOY WAS I WRONG!

I began getting a blackhead that I could not get out and as far as I could tell it was going to continue penetrating until it scarred. As a last resort I bought these tools hoping they would do the trick and they did. As soon as I pressed the tool on my problem area, the blackhead was extracted with ease. Definitely worth buying for the price and effectiveness of the product

not fine enough edges

The working ends of these tools aren't fine enough to extract pores without compressing alot of area around the one you're trying to zero in on. I had a tool I got from a local beauty store that broke and I was looking to replace it by buying this set. I will seek out the exact same tool as I had before because the metal edges are tiny, thin and fine enough to work on just one pore.
