Marketed for kids, but definitely won't hold up to kids. The metal spokes bent and the ends of the umbrella popped off within a week of use. One of the exposed metal spokes scratched my kid across the face unexpectedly when he was opening it, so this went immediately into the trash. Not safe. Also, not very big even for a kids umbrella and very flimsy.
One star because it's hard to find a simple single-color yellow umbrella for kids, and this is yellow as pictured.
