As Hanna unleashes his powerful intellect, the arguments against God and Christianity fade, the nature of knowledge and reality become clear, and a more sufficient explanation emerges. The evidence he cites for Christianity is compelling; but not coercive. Sufficient for the truth seeker; but not the willful skeptic. Supported by honest scientific inquiry; but not by scientism.
The book is engaging from the first "apology" of the Introduction to the "fine tuning" in the Epilogue. It is a treat to the mind and soul and did not seem as long as the page-numbers first suggested.
The authors of "The Christian Delusion" are close-minded and have no self-critical awareness desiring only to press ahead with their biased agenda. I challenge these atheist stalwarts to write a book refuting Mark Hanna's critiques. As Mark Hanna points out " To rule out the reality of the transcendent Creator God, one would have to be omniscient or succeed in conclusively demonstrating logical contradiction in the concept of his being or in his relationship to the world. Many atheists have expended great effort and ingenuity in attempts to do so, but none have succeeded." (page 23).
