These pens changed my life! Not really. But they work!

Here is my review poem:

I got my pens the other day
the ones for which I sent away
I held one in my fingers tight
and on a paper i did write
and ink came out and made some letters
I don't know no pen what writes better

These pens have been a personal favorite for me for the last few years. I discovered them during my freshman year of college, and I was so excited when I found them at Walmart in a 36 pen box. When I was cruising Amazon last week and discovered that the greatness that is this pen could be mine for so cheap, I practically threw a parade.

If I could high-five these pens, I would. I bought two boxes, so that means I have 120 pens all to myself. Being an education major, I fully intend that most of these pens will go missing in the most ridiculous of places. Will I lose one on the bus? Or will I leave it with the cashier at Target? The joy of the cheapness of these pens is that the future is now mine to find out!

Now, for serious: this is painfully cheap for these pens. They're definitely my favorite pens, and one box will probably get me through my senior year into student teaching and probably when I have my own classroom and need pens for some writing project. I have paid more for these pens, and I do so gladly. They write cleanly, and they don't give out on you until the ink does. Unless I personally damage the pen (which is hard, because the plastic is great quality), it works well always. The ink takes a while to run out (I believe I have a pen that lasted me for everyday writing all year), and they don't look cheap, if you care about that kind of thing. I'm the pen girl in my classes because of these pens.

I was hoping this was the exception to the "if it's too good to be true..." aphorism, and maybe it is... in other lines of work. But for me, in floor nursing, a pen has to be able to take being upside down in my pocket without losing its potency-and this pen definitely can not do that.

I've lost about half of the pens I've used from the pack to a fate similar to the one pictured in my photo. I am not doing anything crazy with these pens, just putting them in my scrub pockets. But of course, that means sometimes they are side ways or upside down and then when I pull the pen out to mark something, I find half the time an almost brand new pen is unusable and I have to stop everything I'm doing to go grab another pen from the nurses' station. I've started carrying 2-3 pens, but I feel strongly I shouldn't expect such a high failure rate from my equipment. I will not be purchasing these again. 1 star

Actually, I'm speaking to you from Saudi Arabia, and this kind of pens are still used by King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center.
The Management of the hospital are still buying this product from America to be distributed to all hospital's staff.
I used one & I found it very excellent pen and very smooth, the grip is very comfortable since I use this pen all the day in my work and my home because I'm writer for Novels and stories .
Last month I bought 90 boxes from this product (blue, black, green & red) from BIC Corporation.

I highly recommended this product to all and I hope from BIC Corporation to continue produce this product & do not cease it at all.

Regards,
Meshari

Or is it my favorite because it is the cheapest? Who knows. Here's what I do know: the blue colors on these are lighter (which I personally like), so they're more distinguishable from your darker blue ink on most blue pens. Also, I consistently get to use ALL the ink in every single pen without having the things poop-out on me. I have other pens that cost twice as much and I'm sitting there looking at a cartridge of full ink, going, "C'MON!!..what are you WAITING for?!!!". I usually just toss them. I still have a few left over, unfortunately. These are my go-to's and they're extremely reliable. A+

It seems as if I've used these very good blue ink pens by Bic for ages; I remember writing many a paper for college using pens like these before computers came along. Bic calls these pens "medium point" but the writing is quite clear and easy to read on the page. The blue ink lasts for months--unless you write a lot with these every day in which case they will last a shorter amount of time.

The pens are compact and easy to carry with you. The pens are made of plastic with an ink tube inside them; this makes them easy to carry because they are so lightweight. As nerdy as it sounds, gentlemen can easily carry one or two in their shirt pockets. I would keep the cap on, of course.

Actually, I would keep the cap on at all times when not using this pen. The ink still inside the pen can dry out rather quickly without the cap being on them. Moreover, you don't want ink to leak out of the pen and make nasty ink stains.

Overall, if you want an inexpensive pen that still gives you high quality writing ink, you can't go wrong with these pens by Bic. I have used them for decades with great satisfaction.

I highly recommend these pens for anyone wanting an inexpensive but good quality blue ink pen.
