PROS:
Cheap
Small Form Factor
Gigabit LAN
Easy BIOS update utility within Windows
Supports upcoming Ivy Bridge CPU's

CONS:
2 of 4 SATA ports blocked when you add a video card
Windows 7 doesn't recognize LAN chipset. Need to install drivers from CD.

This is a perfect mobo for any budget computer build; especially when paired with a ~$50 G530 CPU. Sadly, no HDMI, but I added a video card since I'm using this for gaming.

Despite losing a SATA connector and a PCI-E slot when installing a video card (hence -1 star), this motherboard works well. It has Gbit ethernet, a highly customizable BIOS with fan control profiles, and everything I've done with it has worked on the first try. The price can't be beat.

Inexpensive.

Small. Used in a Rosewill R101-P-BK Micro ATX case and there was gobs of room.

Runs OpenIndiana (Open Solaris 5.11), with app-IT with ZFS with mirrored 2TB drives. Permits the OS to spin down drives during periods of inactivity. Used with an Intel G530, 8BG of memory, an old 250GB drive for the OS, and 2 2TBB drives for storage. (ZFS handles the mirroring).

Drives 1920x1080 display just fine (no video gaming capabilities needed here)

I just loaded up all the systems and drivers and so far it works like a champ. I didn't add a video card but the one on board is working great. Thanks Tigerdirect and Amazon great deal!!
12/1/12 OK Update and it's been 1 year now and the system runs smooth no problems at all

I purchased this basic board to build a server PC for Minecraft.
Board runs well, intel H61 in this board is enough for small games and HD 1080p and smooth Windows Aero, but if your going to be gaming you will need a graphics card. I cannot get the board to recognize ram past 1060MGz, even though I have 1333MGz installed. Maybe a bios update is needed.
Runs great with a Intel G620 2.6Ghz, great price for what I needed it to do. I don't use the audio on this board so I do not have any review about that.
Amazon did a good job at getting this board safely and fast to me. Thanks Amazon!

I paired this with an intel G530 processor build for a buddy of mine. This was a great cheap way to get him into a newer PC. He uses handbrake and general web/youtube/mail etc. He was blown away by the performance for the cost ratio.

I didn't have one issue with the board and I talked to him recently, and he hasn't had one problem.

For a cheap motherboard with onboard video, this is the way to go. Would make a decent HTPC.

At first, I was a bit weary about purchasing a Biostar motherboard. However, my fears were unfounded. The motherboard booted up normally and runs rock stable 24/7. The board lacks any IDE ports so if you are running old PATA drives, you will need an adapter; it also lacks any PCI ports. Seeing as how PCI and IDE are becoming obsolete, the omission of these features is not a critical issue for most new builds. Many of the drivers necessary for the motherboard will not be found by Windows, but can be downloaded from the Biostar website. $50 gets you a basic motherboard and will lack features such as SATA 6.0 gb/s, USB 3.0, and overclocking abilities. However, for a reliable and stable build, this motherboard is definitely one to consider

powers my wife's mid tower PC and lets her do all that she needs to do with her computer. I like to build the computers myself so that they is not extra bloat are unnecessary increases in price like store brought systems. Also what I build is cheaper and more powerful that what you can get prebuilt from a store.
