1.0 out of 5 stars Awful warranty policy for defective units
By Josh A on July 7, 2017
The worst warranty and company to work with. Period.

We had our unit less than a year when the pump failed. We only use it during the summer months, so it really only had 2-3 months of use before it stopped pumping. (However, the unit still worked if we used the bucket instead.)

After calling the customer service line, we were "approved" for a replacement. However, nearly 2 months later, and many phone calls, we still don't have a replacement and the original unit can no longer be used due to their odd warranty policy and procedure. Where we only use it 3-4 months a year, half of this season has been without the unit.

In order to submit a warranty claim, you mail them (at your expense) a variety of things (receipt, product sticker with serial number, etc) including the PLUG from the unit that must be cut off. Thus, you're at their mercy and timeline once you cut the plug and have to wait for them to mail you a new unit. On top of that, if you live somewhere that has strict trash pickup policies, you may be responsible for paying to dispose of the old unit. What an asinine policy.

On top of this policy, every time you call you are told you will get a call back in 24-48 hours. Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. Good luck.

I would not recommend this product.

UPDATE: We received the replacement in poor condition. Not only did it take a long time, but it came in water-damaged packaging and the replacement unit had the SAME PROBLEM as the original unit. Here we go again with the replacement process.
