I can see why some folks hate this or have bad things to say. Let me start with this - This is a great little tool to have around the house with 4 children running around the house. Theres never a clean floor and we always find pockets of crumbs from the snacks your giving to them every 30 minutes. I digress

1. Portability and cordless feature is a saint. Works great but dont expect miracles on carpeted floors.
2. Were using this on LVP floors and stairs that are also wood flooring. I have some areas of carpet in our bdrms that this doenst perform to standards.
3. Most importantly - you gotta clean the filter right. When emptying the canister unscrew the plastic and shake it off outside so you dont breath in all that crap. This is why most this cleaner will fail on most ppl. All the connecting pieces are made of plastic and keeping those areas securely tight and keeping the filter in the canister clean and prevent it from being heavily soiled will bring longevity to the cleaner and suction power.
4. Suction isnt great but its a portable vac itll too just fine for you to sweep up a floor and corner all the garbage and take it up with this guy.

I like it, have no regrets. Originally after a couple days use we thought of returning it but we found ourselves reaching for it too often and so it stays. Good product from a 150 year old company

This was much louder than I expected. The suction worked pretty well though ( compared to another hand vacuum I had gotten ), and overall, I was pleased with its' performance.

However, on a full charge, it did not last long enough for me to thoroughly vacuum a small room ( I did not time it, but most likely was around 10-15 mins ), and required multiple charges to finish vacuuming. This most likely will not be an issue if you are using this SOLELY for very small pickup tasks, but even for my car, if I wanted to thoroughly vacuum it, I would imagine it would require multiple charges.

It charges standing upright on a charging base and the base of the vacuum lights up to let you when charging.

The canister is a good size and easy to clean and you could also see the contents of the canister ( see through ), so you know when it needs to be emptied.

After using it, I am lacking confidence in this vacuum's longevity ( the sound is very loud and makes it seem like it is working harder than it should ), and after reading another review that the battery is NOT replaceable ( once the battery dies, the whole product is not usable ), I decided to write this review as I realized this is not in line with what I am looking for.

I am looking for a QUALITY product, made very well, that will last a long long time, one that has replaceable components & battery ( so you could continue using it without it being dependent on individual parts ). I would like to support products that are designed and constructed to last a lifetime! Also, for my usage, of needing a smaller sized vacuum for small tasks, I realized that perhaps a hand vacuum may not be sufficient for this purpose. So a heads-up for those of you who are looking for something similar.

I moved from a small condo in the city to a home in the country side and got a dog. This vacuum has been a life saver. It's compact, powerful, easy to empty, easy to use and recharge.

If you've never live in a rural setting, you don't know how many bugs get into your house. I couldn't believe how many flies, stink bugs, wasps, lady bugs, all sorts of devilish creatures were getting in. Talking to my coworkers, they said yep that's normal.

Enter the B+D handheld vacuum. Just turn it on and bring it close to the bug and WHOOSH into bug jail. My partner hates looking into suction chamber, she says it's some kind of house of insect horrors.

The other thing is how much my dog sheds. Very easily I'll sweep and collect all the hair into a pile and the vacuum will make quick work of it.

Truly, this vacuum has allowed me to keep my sanity. It's also great to vacuum out all the crumblies in my car.

Oh and I just learned on Tik Tok the suction tip extends! You won't go wrong buying this thing.

This is a good hand vac with easy attachment changing. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it has a charging base rather than a way to plug it into the power cord. It’s a REAL pain to get the vac set back on the base so that it doesn’t fall off of it. I just think it is a completely unnecessary feature that would keep me from buying another one. But if you aren’t easily annoyed by having to take two or three tries to get your vac charging, it’s a very good quality product. Suction is good and it’s easy to dump when it’s full.

For years, I had the old version of this little vacuum that could be wall-mounted. I had been so happy with it and wanted to replace it with another exact one when its battery finally died. When I saw that this charger wasn't wall-mounted, I was disappointed and looked for other small vacuums, but they didn't have all the great features and easy-cleaning that this one has. So, I found a spot for it I have no problem at all with seating the unit on the charger or it being tipped over or any other issues I was leery of having after reading some reviews. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because sometimes the crevice tool extension doesn't lock well and starts sliding back in and that can be a little annoying.
