No insect in my house

When I first plugged it in, I thought it was too small for the area needed. Then a while later I noticed there were no more bugs. The next morning I was taking it down and noticed all the dead bugs in it. That's when I knew it was a good product.

We used 3 styles of bug zappers around our property for one year. This won as they most effective against mosquitoes. Yes, it also attracts moths and gnats. The unit, on 24/7, is near the front door and and keeps the pests away from that direction. This is my second order (a two pack) to replace the others. What sets Black and Decker apart from most of the other bug zappers is that the bulb is replaceable -- the replacement information is in the brochure that comes with the unit.

was ready to return items because I did not here the typical "zapping" of the units, so I went to re-box the lights, I noticed how many insects it had eradicated it a short time. I originally had the bottom collector on and decided to remove it because the amount of dead bugs would have me cleaning it every other day. Good units, small but they work

Excellent Trap!

Works as advertised. Has drastically reduced the amount of gnats and flies in add-on room. Main issue with it is the short cord. Should be be at least twice as long. The trap itself is effective, attracting insects easily. However, not all end up zapped as many simply fly in and sit in the tray. So be aware that when cleaning the trap, there may be several live insect ready to escape back into the air. Very quiet and bugs stuck to the zapper are easy to dislodge (while unplugged of course) with a few taps or the included brush.
