He absolutely loves them and i'll be looking into buying him another pair real soon.
They appear to be durable and fit very well.
I have only worn them twice since receiving them but they fit perfectly and feel great.

~First off I would like to say that these are my first pair of Hard-knuckle gloves. I did a lot of reading an research and out of my list of 5 or so I decided on these. Blackhawk makes some REALLY good gear and i think I made a good decision. The price was a little high for my liking but it was worth every penny. I am Air Force ROTC cadet, paintball fanatic, mountain biker, and I do a lot of tactical/weapons related training. I also am an avid outdoors-man so I know how to put a pair of gloves through its paces and how to find their weaknesses.

~Now, I measures my hand about 5 times, 5 different ways. I measured using sizing charts from a few different sites and 2 different kinds of measuring tapes. If your hand is about a certain number the round up. My hand was just slightly to large for one size so I rounded up and I am glad I did.

~The only other thing is that you will notice that when you take the gloves off for the first few times you will have black stuff on your hands. That is just leather and fabric that you have worn off. It just means you are breaking your gloves in. This happens with a lot of leather gloves that are mad e to be tight against your skin.

Pros:
~Comfort - It took me about a week or a little more to break these in. When I first got them they were very tight and I was afraid that they wouldn't fit. Since leather stretches and forms to the regular shape I gave it time and now they are probably one of the most comfortable gloves I own (and I have like 10 different kinds)
~Grip - We were doing some weapons training and when I was holding the rifle I noticed that I didn't need to put a lot of pressure on the weapon to hold it in place.
~Looks - Blackhawk knows how to make stuff look good and they sure did on these.

I'm currently deployed in Afghanistan and I've bought these gloves at the Camp Pendleton MCX in the past and absolutely loved them, but the ones being shipped from this site are knockoffs. They're made out of a different material and squeak whenever you move your fingers or make a fist, they're very uncomfortable and don't breath well at all. I was so unhappy with them I gave them away to one of the Afghan army medics we train, and he liked them and perhaps the repor that action brought was worth the $70 I spent on these gloves.

The gloves I purchased were almost $90, shipped to me. The picture for the OD color is much lighter than what I got. My gloves were very dark and not at all what was shown. Also, it was very obvious they were used and returned then resold. I had scuffs on the knuckles and they already were worn on the palms. They didn't come in the original packaging material, only a plastic bag. I'm not at all happy and feel Optics Planet and Amazon should have been more honest and sold these as near new.

I have had these gloves for a few months and already the stitching along the thumb has come undone. I don't even wear them everyday so this is not what I expected from this manufacture. They usually sit in my tactical bag and Ive probably worn them 20 times.

It arrived well before the expected date, half a week. The only concern so far that I have with them is the right hand between thumb and pointer there is a bit of either a tightness or stiffness that makes the skin a little sore, but again, it is leather, and heavy duty, so only time will tell if wearing in helps.

Update (2011/10/24): Tightness has worn in, kevlar and stitching has held up.

Durability 5/5
Warmth 4/5
Sizing 5/5
Dexterity 5/5
Protection Unrated

By far worth the money, I will never buy any other gloves other than BlackHawk again.

These are great work/ combat gloves! They feel tough durable and strong. The hard knuckles look and feel great, and the leather around the wrist feels supportive and can definently withstand cuts from a knife. The only problem is that the stitching is starting to come undone as I use these glOves for simple house hold chores... What's gonna happen to them in a combat situation?!

Bought them, used them, and the stitching is coming loose already. The one velcro strap that secures the cuff is cheap. The wrap around cuff is nice. Other than that, could've done without.

Only reason I am giving this product 3 stars so far is the fitment is hard to pin down using the blackhawk measurement table. Although the width of my hand should be Medium, I do in fact need a large as I suspected. I will be returning this one for the larger size. All other features are great.

The problem I have is the measurement does not account for your finger length and being able to span the hand open comfortably after break0in.
