Julian Hosp was born on February 3rd 1986.

He played as a professional basketball player in the Austrian Bundesliga Level 2 and 1 as a point guard for the Innsbruck Pilots during my early High School years in Innsbruck.

From 2003 until 2004 Julian studied in the US at Nashville Christian School to improve his Basketball Skills.

After he returned from the US to finish his studies in Austria, he decided to give up on his Basketball career when he realised the opportunities in kitesurfing that were just getting very popular.

He became a professional kitesurfer for almost 10 years from 2004 until 2013.

For most of his career he was among the Top15 in the world.

In 2013 Julian became the author of the bestselling kitesurfing book called "Kite-Tricktionary" which is used today by most kitesurfing students around the world.

During the age of 18 to 25 (from 2004 until 2013) he completed his medical studies at the Medical University of Innsbruck to become a Medical Doctor.

He never really pursued this profession but became an entrepreneur and business owner instead.

Julian co-founded a Singapore based company which was worth 100 Mio USD at a time. Julian is further a internationally requested speaker and expert for Blockchain & Cryptocurrency.
