The first thing I noticed about this book is how unique the story premise is. William's job interview sets the stage for what will prove to be a very strange work environment! On that note, this modern day Vampire tale started off feeling like it was going to be erotica, but it's primarily a story about solving a mystery and building a new romance.
I really enjoyed the dynamic between William and Sadie, and thought that the concept of what their company does (and how they do it) was a great idea. I also thought the author did a great job of making Melissa very unlikable - which was for the best, given the circumstances. (I will caution those who are triggered by non-punished adultery in stories - you may have some issues with this one.)
It was a good read, and I plan to start the next one in the series as soon as I make it through a few more books in my reading stack!
