Does your car have an unsightly rust spot or scratch? Patch it up with a magnetic auto bandage! It's easy to apply and can be removed without damaging a car. It's also great to have on hand in case you ding someone's car and you're having a hard time breaking the news. Just slap it on and lighten the mood! Auto-Aid is also MUCH cheaper than bringing your car to Maaco, so you can save more money for a new car!

Here's some advice:
1. Don't leave it on the car 24/7. It will fade rapidly (several reviews pointed this out).
2. It is quite it is quite likely to disappear (either intentionally or by accident). The package does say to wipe moisture from the magnetic back.
So, I put mine on when I am driving or going somewhere that it will showcase nicely. I don't leave it on overnight or when I park in public parking. If there's foul weather afoot, I don't put it on. I find doing this extends the life of the product dramatically, and I don't have to buy a replacement for it.
These were very popular in Hawaii when I lived there, so was quite happy to see this available here.
Have some fun, enjoy the smiles and laughs, and enjoy how much fun spending around 10 bucks can bring you.
I really like the way these look. From just a few feet away, they look like real band aids. My only problem is that the magnets are not strong. They really need to be on a completely flat surface and they have to be in the back of the car.
I bought these for my son to put on my van to lessen the blow for my husband when he finally saw the damage. It worked! He laughed and wasn't so mad. However, the bandaid on the front fender, where my mom backed into the van (it's been a rough month for my poor vehicle) came right off when I hit 45 miles per hour. ): I still look for it when I pass that spot.
-Gets some good laughs
-Colors fade pretty fast
-Use it on a smooth surface or you're probably gonna have to kiss it goodbye
Let me explain...
I bought this as a joke, got some laughs (I like to think they were all laughing with me, not at me), some compliments (and people actually wanted to know where I got it), and some hate (mostly from my parents, big surprise). I was covering an...unsightly spot on my car; turns out there wasn't quite enough metal to hold it on and it flew off the first day...so I bought a second one and glued it on. That one lasted a few months until the super spray glue wasn't quite super enough. At that point it had faded pretty well and wasn't a big loss...and the ugly spot was only a little uglier covered in glue residue. I didn't exactly time it but I'd say it probably started to fade within a month or so...but that's on a car in full sun every day.
This thing does fade fast if you park outside.
I am willing to bet that if you park in a garage and/or put this on first in the fall or winter it will probably last a while.
I however, installed in June and it has already significantly faded (it is now early august--only 2 months!).
I will attempt to recolor this sticker soon with markers in the hopes of recreating its notable and laughable original state.
If your car is like a piece of paper was scrunched and unfolded, or banged up a bit, this will not stick. However, buy some heavy duty mounting tape, and you will be fine. Link is below.
