I am a big fan of European cars (especially BMW and VW) and we just recently purchased a used 435i. I purchased the Bentley service manual for it. About a month after I got manual the car started throwing all kinds of codes (GRRRR!) With the Bentley and a code reader I was able to diagnose and fix the issue at the cost of only the parts (cracked charge pipe in case you are wondering). I have several of the Bentley manuals for various cars I have owned over the years and have found them to be the most complete service manual short of buying the service manuals from the dealership.
