Fixed Front Wheel for Maximum Stability
Whether you're out for your morning jog, navigating bumpy sidewalks, or walking on a gravel path, the Sport Utility Stroller offers stability with a fixed front wheel. Featuring a three-wheeled design, the stroller's wide wheels are each 16 inches in diameter and offer a knobby tire surface for maximum traction. The front wheel includes a fender.

For convenience, the accessory adapter allows you to attach the BOB Infant Car Seat Adapter (sold separately) so you can use the stroller with all major infant car seats.

Best stroller ever I absolutely love it. Glides amazingly, quality build with quality materials. I do have one bone to pick though and it is a big one so that is why I am giving it one star because the issue is so huge and dangerous it needs to be recalled. The wheels. In less than 3 months of use I have received 3 flat tires all in the back wheels. I have spent approx. $50 on new replacement tubes from BOB. The first flat was popped by a small thorn that went straight in, this was the only flat from off road trail use, the rest happens on concrete sidewalk. The second one was popped by a dried thorn that upon removal I could crumble between my fingers. The third flat was a tiny piece of metal that popped a replacement tube. After the first flat I thought maybe I overinflated the tires so I bought a pressure meter and inflated them all to exact specifications. This did not help. The rubber on the tires is way too soft and cheap in my opinion. I can not go on hikes anymore without carrying tools, pump, and spare tubes. These tires are very dangerous here is why: Imagine you go on a several mile hike with your infant and receive a flat from something as stupid as a thorn. Now how do you get back? Ditch the stroller and carry the infant for miles? What if I am in bear or puma country and its getting late? A stroller meant for the trails needs rugged quality wheels at least the quality of a cheap bicycle tire. These wheels only appear rugged but are total crap rubber. I am currently looking for a solution and would greatly appreciate any help offered. Is there a foam I can fill the tubes with or a way to reinforce the wheels? Are there any after market wheels I can buy that will work with this stroller's rims? Anything please bc I am sick of the flats that ruin this PERFECT stroller otherwise.

Would buy pivoting wheel

We bought this BOB about three years ago before our first daughter was born. Since then, we've been using it nearly every day. Here are our findings after having it around for so long:

WHY WE CHOSE THIS BOB
We spend lots of time outdoors running on fireroads and trails near our house. We read that if you go on trails, you want to have a fixed wheel. You also want to have good shocks so the baby doesn't get tossed around too much. These wheels are very thick and sturdy and the shocks are wonderful.

However, after having used it for 3 years, we think we would get a pivoting wheel if we had to do it all over again. The pivoting wheel lets you lock it if you need to. It's also so much easier to turn than this stroller. This stroller is great on fireroads and trails, but it doesn't do well on roads because it is so hard to turn.

Also, because the wheel is fixed, it was hard for me to use at first because I had a C-section. Bearing down on the handlebar to turn the stroller hurt a lot--and when you first use the stroller, it's very heavy because you'll have a carseat in there.

HOW WE USE IT
We mostly use this stroller for trail and fireroad running and walking. We use it on the roads, but it's tough, so we usually opt for eaither our Graco stroller or our BOB Double on the roads--even if we just have one kiddo with us.

CAR SEAT COMPATIBILITY
We use our BOB with the Graco Snugride 35 Click Connect carseat. There is not a BOB adapter specifically for the Graco Click Connect, so we had to purchase the Chicco adapter, which fits perfectly. It was tough finding the right adapter...lots of phone calls to BOB. Make sure that you differentiate between the Graco Click Connect and Graco Classic Connect when looking for the compatible adapter. We waited months for the adapter to come in only to learn it was for the wrong Graco model.

SAFETY FEATURES
We love having the handlebar brake and handlebar strap for walking down our steep driveway--and for any hill really. It helps you control the speed and have a backup safety system in case you trip. I also love that it comes with a carseat strap that fits over the carseat. I tripped once and took the whole stroller down with me, so I was glad to have the carseat strap in place to keep the baby safe!

The shocks on this stroller are excellent, so the baby will get a smooth ride that helps to protect his or her head from jiggling.

ACCESSORIES
The BOB SHOULD come with basic accessories, but it doesn't. We have found that the BOB brand handlebar console is not so great. And it's kind of expensive for what it is. I'd look at other brands that might have shallow pockets and allow you to store more of your essentials.

You'll have to buy a separate carseat adapter. $$$ When we put our carseat in, the shades don't work perfectly because they just don't line up. It's fine, but not amazing. BOB doesn't make carseats, so you'll have to work with whatever carseat you have and probably won't have that seamless fit you may be going for. It's okay though.

You also have to buy a separate snack tray. YUP! The BOB doesn't even come with a basic snack tray. So you pay hundreds for the BOB and another hundred or so for all of the accessories. Booooo! But we knew we'd be using it daily for several years, so we bought the accessories anyway.

NIGHT SAFETY
The canopy comes with reflective tape on the edges so if you walk at night, cars will have an easier time seeing you. We also added lights to the bars and the wheels.

FOLDING AND TRANSPORTING
Folding it up is easy and it literally done just by folding it down in half. You can pull a red tab to get it even more compact as well. Opening it is easy as well.

All in all, this stroller has become about as useful to us as our car. We love it. We only wish we didn't have to pay so much for accessories and we wish we had bought a model with a pivoting wheel.

I had previously purchased a BOB double stroller to take my grandkids on walks. I have had four in it at a time and it still worked fabulously so when I was looking for a "Hiking" or "Trail" stroller and one from BOB was listed it was a no brainer for me. I ordered two. I have a lot of young grandchildren including a handicapped grandson who has difficulty walking long distances, I wanted to take him on hikes with the rest of us so initially that is why I was looking.
I was not disappointed. BOB strollers are worth the money. They are built ruggedly and roll with smoothness and ease. There is no wobbliness.
It is a fixed front wheel for sturdiness on the trail so you have to tip it back to make bigger turns. I took my four year old grand daughter for a ride in it and she was almost too tall. Guess it's time for her to walk.
I gave one to my daughter for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. I am going to order another one so that I can have two.

Love this stroller. We bought this before our first child was born almost 5 years ago. We use it regularly but it still seems brand new after countless miles. I will say I am not a huge fan of the “fixed front wheel” style, but that feature is actually perfect for running. I typically use this stroller more for walking around the neighborhood or to the park on uneven terrain. It is very easy to fold, but slightly heavy (to be expected with a well built stroller).BOB products are solid and a really good investment. Buy a BOB! You won’t regret it!

This is our second one of these. The first was the double model. It was a little too big, but this one (assuming you don't need to haul 2 kids at the same time) is much easier to get through doorways, haul in the car etc.

It folds up in seconds, the large tires are great (we have taken in off road, off trail many times) so smooth, and it seems like the kids are comfortable in it. The canopy has very good coverage as well. Although on this one it is a bit tight (like the fabric is a little too small) so it doesn't always stay all the way open (covering the child) at times.
