The case is cannot be fixed and I basically wasted my money.
-does not clip on
-VERY VERY fragile
-not the wood case i was looking for
Bamboo is a softer wood, it's not oak or another hard wood, so there is a chance that it can break. I bought this case knowing this. It was only $5 shipped at the time of purchase which is nothing for a phone case (especially since it's natural!) in the long run, I'm glad I supported something natural and renewable compared to something synthetic that will end up in a landfill (I'll compost this after it "dies")
P.S. I've dropped this several more times since the first incident in the past 3 months of owning it and it hasn't cracked again :)
I purchased this case from overseas along with a handful of others and the case didn't even make the trip without breaking.
There is a small piece (like a bridge) on the front/bottom that is about 1/4 inches in diameter. That broke in two pieces during shipping.
I emailed the seller and asked 'what now' and they (thank you very much!) refunded my money.
Well, I was going to reorder it because I love the look of bamboo wood but figured I'd try it out for a day. Well, I didn't have it last until noon.
The two pieces slide together, top and bottom. I was taking the phone out of my (large) pocket and the corner/bottom/left piece (where the two pieces come together) caught on it slightly and before I new it, *snap!*, the whole left side split up the grain of the wood.
Now the case just slides up and down the phone without holding anything and the case has two breaks, all in less than 24hrs.
I don't man-handle my phone, I don't throw it, or toss it on the desk at the office, but this case, although a good idea, just didn't hold up for me.
It is what it is - a thin piece of milled wood, subject to splitting and breaking along the wood's grain.
I will not be purchasing another one to replace this one.
Also, you have to remove the bottom portion to charge even with a charging cable which is totally ridiculous... why have a hole there if it can't be used for its purpose?. Fortunately (and unfortunately...) the case is easy to remove.
There is no locking mechanism at all, it's just a simple slide-in-place situation with the case. This is annoying for me because it's in and out of my pocket all the time and if you pull by the wrong portion, the case will separate.
I will continue to use the case because it looks nice and isn't going to peel like the other inexpensive plastic cases around.
3 stars because it's slightly worse than I expected, but realistically worth the amount I paid.
Well it never came and I gave it about another 20 or so days just incase. Nope, never came.

I loved this product, while it lasted. About 2 weeks later, the wood on the sides of the case started to peel off until they were completely gone (as bamboo is quite fibrous). Read morePublished 1 month ago by Michaela G.
The cover broke as I wanted to put it on my phone the very first time. But it does look very good - it's just not a protective case is all.Published 1 month ago by Amazon Customer

Had to break the case to get my phone out of it, looks good, feels nice, but I don't think wood is meant for cases.Published 4 months ago by Ramona Flowers
