Listening to it now for the first time since buying it; on the second-to-last song. Wonderful album. I was listening to country less and less because I was so tired of tailgate-party songs. Read a little article about what Blake has to say about his new album, and I was convinced that he saw the tailgate-party-song-burnout coming quite some time ago, and he knew he had to put together a very different album. Bringing Back the Sunshine totally fits the bill. The man is brilliant, to do an album like this while so many others have been trying to milk the old trend for all it was worth ad nauseum. Thank you, Blake!

My favorite CD of Blakes so far. I have played it over and over again, Romance, love and and a lot of good old country music.

Anyone who has been listening to Blake Shelton's records for the last several years knows they can expect equal parts humor, rowdiness, and sentimentality. Whatever else you want to say about him, it's hard to deny that the man is consistent. Blake really doesn't push the boundaries artistically in his latest effort, BRINGING BACK THE SUNSHINE, which is usually how fans prefer it - who is ever truly happy with their favorite artist when he tries something outside the confines of precedent? Bringing Back the Sunshine picks up where Based On A True Story... left off. The two most recent Blake albums actually sound like they could be one double album, so those who enjoyed True Story will doubtlessly find much to savor in Sunshine.

The new collection opens with the title track, an upbeat driver reminiscent of classic rockers 38 Special. "Bringing Back the Sunshine" is full of the excitement and optimism of coming home after being gone for too long. It's like the rock 'n' roll version of Blake's cover of "Home." The lyrics don't have quite the substance of "Home," but it's a musically robust joint and an energetic way to kick things off.

Blake slows the pace somewhat for the next track (and lead single), the head-bopping, it-is-what-it-is "Neon Light." Listening to it, one can picture a guy drowning his sorrows at the first watering hole he comes across, the bartender consoling him with a "Sorry, bro, that's rough.

I'm a classic rock fan at heart, so I was actually a little surprised at how much I liked this record! It's really, really good! I particularly like the title cut, "Bringing Back the Sunshine" as well as "Neon Light", "Gonna", "Sangria", and "Just Gettin' Started". It's my first Blake Shelton album... Maybe it has something to do with him being on The Voice, or maybe my tastes are broadening as I get older, I don't know. But I do like this record a lot!

It's rare when you buy an album and you like all of the songs on it but that is the case with Blake's new album. I certainly can't speak for everyone's musical tastes but this is one album that I will enjoy for a long time. Nice job Blake!!

BRINGING BACK THE SUNSHINE is unmistakably Blake Shelton. Like he often says, "When I turn on the radio and hear your voice, will I know it is you?" Yes, that voice is unmistakably Blake Shelton. But it is not only his voice, buy his style. His humor and playful style have a certain tinge of sentimentality that always seems to come through during those special moments. I like this album. I like all the songs. Blake Shelton is one of the greats. There is something very genuine about Blake.

Wow, this is a very moving album from Mr. Blake Shelton. So many great songs on his latest album. Definitely "Bringing Back The Sunshine" to this fan. I especially like Neon Light. But, hey, every song is an inspiration. I just think Blake is finally coming into his own. What a great artist, and more importantly, a great man - just a down-to-earth individual. I especially like to watch "The Voice" with the banter between Blake and Adam Levine.

Not as great as Based on a True Story, his last album. Bringing Back the Sunshine is good (it is Blake), but not that memorable. It has a few great tunes, my favorite is Lonely Tonight with Ashley Monroe, and my wife loves Buzzin'.
