The product description says it has a length of 26.5" and a width of 9.5". I purchased the gray Buff and it measured 20" long x 11.5" wide. This was too wide for me to use as a cover for my face, it was too loose to stay on top of my nose and ears. Even when worn loose around the neck, the extra width allowed it to sag and not fully cover my neck, leaving skin exposed no matter how I tried to adjust it. I think if it had actually been the 9.5" wide as described, it would have worked perfectly.
What's confusing is that another reviewer mentioned that her Buff was way too tight to even pull over her head, so the opposite problem has been true for others.
It seems like there are either some quality control issues in manufacturing or different colors of Buffs are different sizes for some odd reason. Either way, I would highly recommend trying on before buying.

Be aware! Not the ORIGINAL Buff

I order this to have a second one, and didn't realize there were diff types. Its fine and I'm sure it will get use, but just know this one is longer by quite a bit. For me its almost too much material to wear around my neck hiking or biking. It also fits a bit looser than my original grey one, has hemmed ends, and a big obnoxious tag that I had to cut off. It might be a good idea to start putting size types ie: long, standard, etc. in the product title descriptions here on Amazon to avoid any confusion, as it looks like I'm not the only one who didn't notice before ordering.

How I missed this cool product all these years is beyond me! I was concerned when I opened the package that this wool is so thin, almost sheer, but I've been testing it out in the house and I'm burning up. Bunching it up creates pockets of warm air, similar to the concept of how down works. I think if it's extremely windy and Polar Vortex levels of cold I'll need more for my ears. But for most days this will work just great. I don't have a large head and can see trying the Junior size in future for a closer fit, but I feel the loose bunching on this is what I need to trap warmth. Could go either way to be honest. High quality merino wool. No seam! Love the lush grey that will go with everything. This will be a practical and versatile addition to my winter accessories collection.
Now to choose an original Buff for my summer camping trips! I'm guessing these are perfect for keeping pesky no-see-ums out of my ears without drenching myself in DEET or having to wear a hoodie on hot humid days!

I'll be re-entering the workforce next month, during winter in the frigid northeast, and I'll be hoofing from the car in a very windy area. My long hair will need to be tied up, and a hat won't be ideal. I came to Amazon searching for ear muffs and the algorithm introduced me to this whole Buff line. De nuevo, ya que compré la Gris obtuve la color negra para tener dos Buff Lana de Merino ya que están a muy buen precio si lo que quieres es no sufrir de frío o eres de los que no gustan de respirar aire frío, es de muy buena calidad y muy Caliente, permite que no pierdas calor del cuello a la cabeza, te protejo del viento aire y tierra. Si no sabes que comprar te recomiendo compres Buff Lana de Merino si eres Friolento como yó. 👍🏻
