Even though the book says Wall-E very large on the front of the cover your kids may be disappointed in the fact that there is only a very little glimpse of him at one point.

However- if your kids liked the concept of Wall-E and are interested in some of the other robots and what they were doing while WallE and EVE saved the day then this is a great early reader.

My son related to Burn-E finally getting his job done and then having to start all over. Kinda like getting your chores done and turning around and your little brother has dumped everything back out. :)

If you watched the short film of Burn-E. Then this will be no shocker for you. It is a straight adaptation. The pictures match well with the WALL-E color scheme and setting that Pixar did such an excellent job with. You and your child should recognize the characters and find it an easy story to follow along to. When they are older, they will enjoy reading this story by themselves as well.Recommend starting this with age 2 up to 4. But, they will surely want to read it when they are older.

This side-story from the Wall-E movie is so adorable. My son always says, "poor guy" when Burn-E the fix-it-bot runs into trouble trying to fix a light on the Axiom. If you get a chance to see Pixar's movie short of this story it will make it even sweeter. I recommend this book to any kid that loved Wall-E!

Just like the other review, I find it dark and hard to see the image. But for some reason, my son has asked me to read this book every night since a week (a record for him). I even found him with the page open on his face while he was sleeping. So I guess in some ways, it reached the minds of the little one. Like all the other stories I read him,I add my son name in the story, he also have a flashlight that he mimic with the light in the stories...and I talk pretty good like a robot...so that might also help. :)
Sorry for my english, not my maternal language.

This is a straightforward adaptation of the Burn-E mini-episode from the extras on the Wall-E DVD. The pictures are not drawings, but stills from the movie. My 4 year old son loves it.

My son looooves this book. He takes it to bed with him. I bought 8 or so books at the same time and this was his favorite. It has great pictures from the Pixar short.
