I loved it...but there were parts that rang unrealistic....the villain constantly getting past many people to very personal spaces uninterrupted repeatedly...not unknown were her attempts to get with her desired, she should have long been restricted to only work related, the constant running without verification of things she said even the misspelled name more once...its like those errors were rushed,..like readers would forget until the next time...its like this happened but lets overlook it and move on....I

What happened to the editors? The more I write the disappointed I am at the break down of quality.

Butterfly gave me a slow burn, sexy and surprising journey to love. Sofi and Roman meet under false pretenses but they are both captivated with the other. When Sofi leaves her phone behind, it sends Roman on a mission to find his new muse, the woman who has reignited his passion for design. This couple seems fated to be together as life keeps finding ways for them to connect. Sofi is the ray of sunshine that Roman needs in his guilt laden world. I love her outlook, no matter the challenge in front of her, she keeps her chin up and finds the best in every situation. For Roman, he has suffered a horrible loss that he struggles to move on from. As he goes through the motions of life, he is trapped but meeting Sofi unlocks something for him which was a joy to experience. There is a lot of drama for this couple along the way with several unexpected twists that had me guessing. I found myself captivated by the fashion world and the beauty of butterflies.

Just finished this and my heart is still pounding. To say I loved it doesn't compare to the feelings Roman and Sofi's story evoke. One of the quotes in this book is an apt description of Roman Hurst "There is beauty in sadness". That is until he meets Sofi Lockheart, artist, nail technician, all knowing of butterflies and journalist imposter for her BFF. Roman worldly known for his haute couture is reclusive to the point he doesn't go out in daylight and has never taken a bow at the end of his shows. Living in only black and white, guilt and loss, Sofi brings light to his life and heart. Sofi doesn't put up with Roman's moods or outbursts nor does she understand his sadness and possessive nature. With Sofi as his muse and a new knowledge of the magical powers of butterflies Romans creative visions for his new line is outstanding. When Sofi witnesses the extent of Romans guilt and loss she gives him the strength and comfort he needs and changes their relationship. There are roadblocks thrown in their way to separate them but Roman can't live without his butterfly. This beautiful story will grip your heart and squeeze. It will also being tears to your eyes from heartache to happiness. Not the first book from Nelle L'Amour I've read nor will it be the last. I highly recommend you get this book, then you can find out if Roman will capture his butterfly's magical heart. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and I happily purchased a copy for my favorites collection.

Butterfly 🦋 is the first Nell L'Amour book that I have experienced. I enjoyed her detailed and descriptive writing style. The plot and the characters are complex and interesting. Action is fast-paced but, the romance is an immediate spark followed by a slow burn.

Sofi and Roman connect immediately, the first time they meet. Watching the relationship progress between these two is a painfully wonderful experience. Even as guilt from a past tragedy and unexpexted truths unfold, I found myself rooting for these two beautiful people to make a successful match.

The setting of this story is different and exciting. I loved learning about haute couture and butterflies. I found myself stopping to google each species mentioned. I have also placed visiting a butterfly exhibit and habitat on my list of things to do. I truly enjoyed envisioning the beautiful clothing created by the butterfly inspiration.

Butterfly 🦋 is a passionate and emotional angst-filled story. It has humor and heart. Despite a few harrowing and heart-rending moments, the happy ending left me smiling and glad to have experienced this book.

Loved this story of love and redemption in the most unlikely way. Sofi Lockhart aspiring artist and graduate of the Parsons School of Design in NYC is currently doing mani-pedi’s at a nail salon. Her BFF is wealthy and planning a wedding which takes up a LOT of her time so she calls on Sofi to do her another favor: interview the reclusive Roman Hurst of the haute couture “House of Hurst” in the next hour! Because Sofi loves butterflies, even a casual observer will notice them somewhere on her outfit. Today she wears a VERY colorful combination of clothing with butterfly tights which strikes Roman as pure magic. He can’t stop thinking about her. He must make her his muse! Before that can happen there will be an unforeseen twist.
There is real magic in this story. Even though he is 15 years her senior, he needs and wants Sofi but there is a certain person who is determined for that NOT to happen. There is lots of angst, multiple mini-stories, poignant moments and a tears-of-joy-ending! If you enjoy passion, twists angst and a beautiful ending, read this book. I’m so glad it was not serialized making us wait month-to-month for the ending. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and it comes highly recommended. Pssst…I learned a lot about butterflies. So fun!

This book had a really good concept. The tortured man-a creative soul who suffered a great loss. The starving artist-the young girl who was misunderstood and had so much to give. Roman and Sofi meet and they are what each other need. As a plot, it was good.

What I didn't enjoy was the delivery. It was a little too OTT for me. Too many exclamation points. Too many holes in the story. It has a lot of potential, and I did read it cover to cover, but I think there was just too much going on that made the story implausible. I don't mind drama, if it adds to the story, but when it is there just for the sake of drama-as I felt was in this book, I just found myself rolling my eyes. It does have a nice (though somewhat implausible!) HEA.
