Doesn't really leave a thin layer of 'grit' that I was expecting, and wanting, in order to help style my hair. It does have some, but not enough to really shape a style. It also has a very strong coconut smell, which if you love coconut smells, it would smell fantastic, but I don't really enjoy it. If coconut doesn't bother you, then it'd probably be a 4 🌟 product.

It is definitely a good product but not great for my short thick straight hair. It does add texture but doesnt last that long on my hair, i need to add a light pomade after the sea salt to make it look better and and to hold. It smells great, but dont think is the right product for me.

Love the smell. It’s not as “salty” as I expected. Didn’t do as much of defining and made my hair look greasier instead of like- salt dried. I suppose it may be due to the conditioning elements in it? But unfortunately that may compromise the whole point of putting salt in your hair.
