So I went back and forth and back and forth about buying this flat iron because it was so expensive plus some reviews said it could be fake. I am so GLAD I invested in this! I am mixed with black and el salvadorian and have very very curly hair.. I'll say 3c/4a curls.

Anywho, I had an Ultra Chi flat iron for the past 3 years that would do ok but I would have to go over each section 2-3 times then wrap my hair for a few hours then take it down and go over my whole head AGAIN just to get the frizziness to go away and my hair to be as straight as possible. With this Babyliss Ultra thin 1 1/2 inch flat iron, I literally only go over my hair sections ONCE! So it cuts the time in half. I am going to include pics of my hair before it's straightened and after it was done with the Babyliss nano titanium. This review is 100% legit, I didn't get a discount on it and because I took the reviews serious, I decided to go head and review this to possibly help someone else !!

Just bite the bullet and buy it!!

I may have gotten a defective or fake babyliss, but isn't as I imagined. The plates weren't smooth. My hair would go underneath it and come out burnt and smelly.

I have only been having this item for 3 months and it already has a short in the swival part and shuts off when i pick it up. The last iron i spent this much on lasted 4 years. Dont waste your money!

Like so many others said, it doesn't close all the way. It's definitely defective. The manufacturer package was opened when I received my flat iron, so maybe I got one someone had already returned. I'm not sure. Either way, I'm returning it.

This is the worst product I've bought from Amazon. It caused breakage on my ends of my hair. No matter how low I turned the dial down, it still caused damage. Definitely DO NOT use if you have fine hair.

This iron I bought us faulty. It turns off after a few minutes. It does not stay plugged in nor does it get as hot as it should. I bought the same iron last year and it worked great but it got stepped on and broke. I think I received a faulty unit but I'm 1 week past my 30 day return
