This is a great dryer. It's very light weight, quiet and easily dries and smooths my hair. 2,000 watts make a big difference as it has a very controlled airflow (I always use the diffuser). My hair is very short and is wavy when left on it's own. I use my hair dryer to get rid of the wave and create a straight hair style. This dryer does it the best of any dryer I've owned. One pass and my hair is smooth and straight. I would definitely purchase this again.
