Baby, Baby! is a hardcover book designed for infants and toddlers. The illustrations are great and they are large enough to grab the attention of babies. The book is designed for interaction. For example, each illustration includes the baby performing an action, (baby kisses, baby claps). The last page of the book includes a mirror with the question “who does God love? And of course, the baby sees himself, therefore God loves me (the baby)!
Since my children are older I asked a friend to read to the babies in our church nursery. Thank-you Mrs. Suellen Sullivan for your help, God bless you! The response of the babies was diverse and helped to appropriate the audience. The one year old babies loved the book, held it, carried the book around, kissed the mirror, and loved looking at the babies. The two year olds babies enjoyed the story, helped turn the pages, and performed the actions of the story. The three year old was not interested. Please understand that we only had a relatively small number of children to read the book to. Your children may respond differently. But I do believe that our experience may benefit your understanding of the appropriate age, as well as the entertainment and learning quality of the book. Based upon what we have observed, with confidence, I recommend the book.
In exchange for an honest review I have received a copy of Baby, Baby! from FlyBy Promotions. I have given an honest review.
Throughout this book, we see lots of different babies both boys and girls doing things that babies do best. There are babies eating, drinking, splashing, squeezing, pounding, clapping, and so on. The story is a good read because it flows really well-being written in a rhyming way. The illustrations capture babies movements and actions perfectly. Aside from seeing all that babies often do, the book ends on the note that God loves them and a scripture verse that's found in the book of Jeremiah.
The mirror in this book was a delightful surprise. My four-month-old baby girl loves smiling back at herself in the mirror. There's also a spot on the mirror page for me to write down my daughter's name. She'll soon recognize her name and the fact that God loves her with me reading this book over and over again to her. I'm quite happy with this book for my little one and feel it would make a wonderful gift for the special little one in others lives too! I highly recommend it!

The rhymes are short but sweet and in the end, there’s a baby safe mirror that lets your child see themselves. This mirror is accompanied by the phrase, “Who does God love? God loves ______?” There you can write in your child’s name. Not only is this book fun but it also gives your child their 1st introduction with God’s love. Everything that the babies do in the book is very relatable. The book is a board book so the pages are thick enough to be handled by small hands. My youngest fell in love with the book as soon as I read it and she saw herself in the mirror. Now she asks to read is every night. Sometimes multiple times a day. It would make an amazing gift for any young child.
I recived this product complimentaryin exchange for an honest review.
Each page has the most precious, colorful pictures on them. Any baby would smile and enjoy looking at these sweet babies.
One reason I like this book is because it talks about God and how He loves babies.
Highly recommended. Excellent book for mothers, grandmothers or friends to give to their favorite babies.
