Got this for my twins' first birthday. They love it. I want one of my own. It is actually 6 months and up, this listing says 12. It can be easily (like in three seconds with next to no effort) taken off its legs to be a floor sitter toy. Even though my one years olds are obviously able to stand at it, I do use that feature if I leave it in the playpen with them while showering or cooking because, etc, if theyre not directly in my line of sight because it's also very light. They can push it around extremely easily and you can imagine what ensues. They'll push it up to the side of their playpen and climb on top of it 🙈. However, it's a wonderful toy they both really enjoy, and has the ability to also be a floor toy for younger babies or for if you need them not to climb on it for a few minutes. It's not ungodly loud, it's got a ton of different rhythms and combinations- freestyle node is entertaining for me as an adult, even. It's a much less obnoxious toy than most on the market and my kids love it.
*updated* unfortunatle I noticed hand prints today and went to wipe it down. That's not sticky from my baby's hands, it's sticky from a low quality finish on the wood. Anywhere that isn't painted over, the finish is tacky. For $80 that's obnoxious. The plastic part also had the paint that shows where the buttons are for which sound set almost totally worn off.
