Has polyurethane form

I was so excited to use this book on my teething little one. However when I got it I saw that there was polyurethane form used. This is not recommended to be used as teething material since it is toxic. I would not recommend any parent to use this for their baby.

As other reviewers mentioned, my 10mo daughter doesn't know where to chew on this. She keeps gravitating to chewing the handle, but it's very thick. The teether section isn't overly thick but I don't think there's enough "definition" between the circles for her to be able to fit it in her mouth. This afternoon she tried to chew it in three different places, got frustrated, and then threw it down and moved on. She much prefers the Lamaze circle teether, which we've gone through two of because she loves it so much.

6 Month Old Has Hard Time Holding

I would say my baby has normal dexterity for his age (6 months), and he has trouble holding this teether and maneuvering it to his mouth. The teething parts are too thick for him to get it to his gums. Also made of very tough material, so he's not able to bite down on the teether to get relief. It pops out of his mouth.

Maybe an older baby would have better luck?

I bought this teether bc I thought it would freeze like ice on the inside since it’s filled with water.. but when I got it I read the package and it says “do NOT freeze.” So it was a huge letdown, I would’ve never bought this if I had realized that beforehand. That being said, my daughter DOES like it.. and it can be put in the fridge, it’s also thick & kind of heavy.. so there’s a lot of cons with this. I gave it 3 stars only bc my daughter likes it. If I could freeze it and it was slightly thinner it’d get 5.

My favorite part about this is that my little one has been using it to learn how to turn pages! She also loves crinkly things and it will entertain her for a while with just that. As far as chewing on it goes, she seems to prefer the tag, but I don't mind. I also really love that some of the pictures use actual photos. Like, the shape of a leaf and the detail is that of an actual leaf. That's pretty cool.

Baby teething devices are preferential for the baby.

We have 4 different things he teethes on among all the other objects he will teethe on.

This won't fall apart. The paint is not going to come off and poison him. He can hold it. He likes those one piece gummy types of teethers just as well. This can be cooled in the fridge for kicks.

It's a teether.

First of all, you only get one teether in the package. I read the description and knew that I would only receive one, but I can see how the picture on this product would be deceiving to some. That did not affect my rating, however. My rating is based on the following:
Pros:
-safe to go in freezer
-cute, colorful design,
-plastic caterpillar "handle" makes it easy to grip

Cons:
-only the top of this (the non-caterpillar part) is good for teething. I don't really want my kiddo chewing on the hard plastic part and he doesn't have the dexterity at 6 months to always get the teether half in his mouth.
-the teether half is too thick for my 6 month old's tiny mouth. He struggles to get it in there. However, it might get more use as he gets older.

Although I really like the look of this tether and the rattle is great it just is too chunky for my 3.5 month old baby’s mouth, struggled to chew on this therefore I think it will be better suited for him when he is older maybe +6 months

Did capture the child's attention. However, due to size, a 3 months old cannot handle it so most likely suitable for 4M+ when hand-eye coordination is better developed and grip is better as well. It will come in useful and my kid really enjoyed the new chilling sensation when biting on it, the bright colours got her intrigued as well. The only reason I did not mark it 5 stars was the size - in reality I feel it's best to use 4M+ if you have a big baby (mine looks like at least 6M and she's only 3.5M) or 5M possibly for a smaller baby.
