"This teaches a child at a very young age that animals have feelings and need to be nurtured and loved... This book would be ideally stocked in school, home and kindergarten libraries, as well as in animal shelters worldwide." ~ 5 star review from Reader's Favorite
About the Author
Julie Flanders is an academic librarian by day and a writer the rest of the time. She is also an animal lover and has written features about pets and the importance of animal rescue for media outlets such as Best Friends Animal Society and Cat Fancy. Julie's latest book, her first for children, is called Baby Moo's Great Escape and features an ambitious cow as the title character. The story was inspired by a visit to an Ohio farm animal sanctuary.
