To cut to the chase, I gave the BOB Stroller Strides Duallie 3-stars overall, the 2016 City Mini GT Double - 5-stars, and the 2016 Summit X3 Double - 4-stars.
I'm focusing on MY major factors; they all have canopies, storage, recline, etc. that aren't big factors to me.
Weight of the Strollers
*Per each mfg website
BabyJogger City Mini GT Double is 32lbs
BabyJogger Summit X3 Double is 37lbs
BOB Stroller Strides Duallie is 36lbs
Getting them in/out of the car
Winner: Tie - City Mini GT and Summit X3
BabyJogger's one-step pull-to-fold design is simply awesome. We've had to help in-laws fold up a Bugaboo that took 2 parents a bit of time to figure out. We've used Graco and Chicco strollers as well and their folding mechanisms are less than desirable.
The BOB needs two hands to squeeze and fold and the quarter-inch-round red-folding-cable feels like it is going to snap at any moment and has too much slack to carry with. It is quite bulky to grab overall and place in a car trunk.
Because the BabyJogger design has a comfortable pull-to-fold cloth strap with minimal slack for both seats, it is simply a better design and less effort to pick up and put in a car trunk, even though the website states it weighs 1lb more than the BOB. If the BOB was easier to grab and lift, it would have placed higher.
Winner: City Mini GT
Now I'm no stroller engineer, but one thing I never considered to research was whether or not you need to inflate the tires. You don't think about that until the first time you find out the tires are low. Our BOB Duallie has inflatable tires. On more than one occassion we've found them low on air and had to start travelling around with a small bicycle pump. We leave it in the car, but it is one more thing to keep track of. Also, it makes those type of strollers un-ideal for destination vacations if you have to pack a bicycle pump just in case.
The City Mini GT has "ForeverAir" tires that never need inflating.
The Summit X3 has inflatable tires :( .
Tie: Summit X3 and BOB
Please do not use the City Mini GT for jogging, it is NOT a jogging stroller and states that in the manual and on the website. It does not have any suspension.
The Summit X3 has all-wheel suspension, though the front wheel suspension is really a torque-arm suspension of sorts. The front wheel can rotate or lock in place.
The BOB has rear suspension, but I do not recall the front wheel having anything, but I don't have it in front of me at the moment, so please correct me and I will update my review. I will state the front wheel can rotate or lock in place, whereby OTHER models of BOB jogging strollers have a fixed wheel, so make sure you test that out.
Hard to pick a winner, all of these strollers feel lightweight. Whether it has 4 wheels (City Mini GT) or 3 wheels (BOB and Summit) - all are high quality and simple to maneuver. The City Mini GT is 29" wide, the Summit X3 and BOB are 31" wide. If you think about it, to maneuver the Summit X3 and BOB as easily as the slightly narrower City Mini, you need 1" of extra clearance on each side.
Which one would *I* pick?
I would pick the BabyJogger Summit X3 Double. It has essentially ALL of the benefits of the City Mini GT, plus you can safely jog with it (don't jog with a City Mini GT). Because of the added bonus of jogging, it is the most well-rounded stroller whether in a tight grocery store, the mall, or jogging a mile to the park and back with the kids. Yes, it DOES weigh 5lbs more than the City Mini GT, but after using both, it feel neglible each time I put it in the trunk. Pushing either stroller is featherweight and effortless.
My biggest factor for choosing the Summit X3 however is the portability of getting it in and out of the car. If the BOB wasn't a 2-step folding process and not so dang bulky where it is hard to grab, it would have done better. The Summit X3 folds in a one-step tug and super easy to carry because of the two carrying straps. It folds about 3" thicker than the City Mini GT which is hard to notice unless you have a super compact car.
All other things being equal, in my case, the Summit X3 has to win because it allows you to additionally exercise and jog with it.
If you plan to never jog with a stroller, then the City Mini GT wins hands down. It is super easy to fold, weighs 5lbs less, folds 3" slimmer AND has the never-flat "foreverAir" tires that you'll never have to worry about.
Now the PERFECT stroller would be a Summit X3 with never-flat tires, that would be the easiest 5-star stroller out there.
I gave the City Mini GT Double 5-stars because as a non-jogging stroller, it truly is a 5-star stroller.
I gave the Summit X3 4-stars because of the inflatable tires you'll have to always be prepared for.
I gave the BOB 3-stars because even though it is 1lb lighter than the Summit, it feels 10lbs heavier! It is just bulky and not as convenient for quick folding and not as easy to get in and out of the car every single time.
However, I DO RECOMMEND that you test all of the demo models at the Big Box Stores and be sure to fold them up and try to put them on top of a small shelf to simulate what it will be like to put in your car trunk each time.
P.S. BabyJogger has re-designed the belt harness in the 2016 models (City Mini GT and Summit X3) over our 2013 City Mini GT Single stroller and 2011 City Mini Regular Single stroller. If you despised the belt harness in the GT models, then have no fear, they fixed all issues, you don't need to grab 5 pieces to put it all together, the shoulder/lap belts stay together and it is an easy one-click snap-in on each side. This will only make sense if you've used older-model-years; if you have no complaints in your tests, then you're familiar with the improved design.

However, my stroller tipped backwards when my 2.5 year-old son climbed in with his knees on the seat and hands on the seat back. The seat was not even fully reclined, and I had nothing hanging on the handlebars or in the other seat. I suppose the same great feature of being easy to pop curbs means that it does not take much effort to tip over. I do not feel safe using this stroller. I have notified the Baby Jogger company.
Other cons: the basket is hard to access and small, unable to hang anything on the handlebars, windows are not magnetic closure, the seats are cramped width-wise, the straps come undone with the slightest pull and are a pain to re-thread. While the stroller does fit through a doorway, it does so with barely 2 inches total to spare. The sides will be easily scratched up as a result. I underestimated what an annoyance it is to both open a door and maneuver the stroller through yourself. I also live in NYC and in an apartment that does not have the widest hallways (a person walking the other way could not past me with this stroller and this is horrible to get through crowded sidewalks), so in retrospect this was a poorly informed purchase on my part.
