Isn't it the job of a baby walker to roll? Well this thing doesnt unless your baby is Heman or Hercules. We even put a bit of WD-40 on the "wheels", if you can even call them that, and we got it to BARELY roll so I guess that's better than nothing. And don't get me started on adjusting the thing. You about need a hammer or a crowbar for the task.
So in the end I guess I paid $30 to learn a lesson.
UPDATE: We went ahead and bought the Joovy Spoon and put the Babytrend on our wrap around porch. Our son is in the 100th percentile on height now (7 months old) and he can sort of get around in it. I would definitely recommend buying the Joovy. It is the absolute best walker I have ever encountered.
My 7mo charges around the house like he’s in a demolition derby and chases his older bro around.
The toys were a little difficult to attach but if you persevere it’s possible.
The only thing I would change is making the seat machine washable. Although a damp sponge with a little dish soap works really well too.

I bought this one for the neutral color for a boy/girl, but I am so not happy with this tray. Do I now try to take it all apart after working so hard to get it together or keep it and be annoyed every time I have to clean out those silly grooves?
After spending 20 minutes trying to do the seat, I FINALLY got the pins all in. So I moved onto the wheels and the little rubber cushion bumper thingies that go on the bottom. They also had pins you push into the base. I could not push them in all the way. They got halfway then stopped at an angle that made it impossible to go any further. And I could not remove it to fix it.
So I did the best I could and got it set up only to see it had a wobble. I looked closer and discovered that one of the legs was out of its socket. I tried pushing it back in but it would not budge. 40 minutes later and I still couldn't get it. But what I DID get was the seat pins coming undone in 2 spots. At that point I was so pissed off that I threw it in the box to return.
But wait! I had to take everything apart! And let me tell you... taking everything apart was worse than putting it together. The strongest monster in the world couldn't remove the remaining seat cushions or the stupid bottom bumper things. So I had to leave them in and squeeze them into the box so it was warped and tape the hell out of it.
Seriously... This product was one of the most frustrating and infuriating things I've ever encountered.
The first impression upon unboxing it was the quality. The plastic was thinner and felt more brittle. It just felt cheaper in my hands.
The biggest issues, however are two design flaws. The first is that the cheap wheels don't roll very well. When one of the girls uses the other product, they scoot around the house and have a ball. In this one, no matter which child uses it, they remain in place. The second flaw is the design of the seat. Whereas the other one has the leg holes at the bottom of the seat, supporting an upright walking position, this one has the leg holes in front of the seat, meaning she's sitting, not standing. This further hampers movement.
The only plus to this product are the toys in front of the seat. They like these, but it's not a core function of the product. It's an activity walker, not an activity sitter.
