I bought this for my my house for when my nieces and nephews visit, and as a spare for occasional use I would have like one that was easier to put together and take down. This one has cheap plastic hooks that snap over the sides (very hard to hook on) for the bassinet with two metal poles in the bottom that are not solid, they come apart into two halves. Not nearly as well made or easy as the one I had for my daughter 16 yrs ago, but it was a lot less money so I guess it just shows you get what you pay for. The diaper/wipe holder is nice, the mobile doesn't wind up and turn by itself so it just dangles there, kinda pointless if you ask me, but I guess it's something for the baby to look at besides the ceiling fan. Overall, it appears safe, and will serve it's purpose and the price was excellent!

With our first, we made the "mistake" of buying a Graco Pack-n-Play. Very expensive, just slightly too wide to go through a door, came with unstable extras that I was even afraid to lay the newborn on, and not quite user-friendly overall. I was afraid to buy one of these that was so cheap, but it is wonderful. I thought the baby had an issue with lying down to sleep, but then we purchased this and he is very comfy. Despite that I didn't put the mobile on he lays quietly in this and occupies himself, but did not do that in his sleeper. He is in love with the look of the toys on the mobile and likes to play with them when we hand it to him. It is just small enough to fit through door ways and it is light enough that I lifted it up over my head the other day while moving it. The bed part is easy to remove yet sturdy. The design looked a little boring to me online but in person I really like it.

I wanted something inexpensive for my house when the baby came. This play yard works great for the price, and it is really cute.

I have a Graco Pack 'N Play that I use for my son, it is great for changing, sleeping and travel. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to take to grandma's house. I really like this Baby Trend playard, it is sturdy and well built. It is the exact same size as my Graco so I can use the same sheets, which is nice. The one issue I have with it is that the mat for sleeping is as hard as a board. What little padding they provide is way too thin, I couldn't imagine trying to sleep on it. To combat this issue I took a fluffy blanket, folded it in half, placed in on the mat and cover the entire thing in a playard sheet. Nice and comfy! I am not worried about the extra fluff because the sheet keeps it smooth. I would have given this 5 stars if not for the hardness of the mat. For any family on a budget, this is a great buy, all the perks of major brand play gym without the added price tag. Yes, it is orange, quite bright, but I would consider it gender neutral. It comes with the little play mobile (useless), a diaper stacker that holds a full size container of wipes and 15 or so size 2 diapers, and the "bassinet". I am not sure if I would call it a bassinet but it is nice to have because it keeps my son within easy reach when changing him. My son is 14lbs and the bassinet holds him just fine. I will probably be removing it when he starts rolling over but I am not too concerned about it just yet. I would recommend this if you are looking for a second one, but not if this would be your primary napping place for your child.

Just a touch difficult to get the sides up. Seems like once you have the hang of it, it's fine. Love the pattern. Love how it fits through doorways, unlike the better-known brands. The mattress could have a little more cushioning, but babies don't care if they're on the floor so I don't really have an issue with it. It goes down SUPER easy. The mobile is cute, but once it's together it doesn't come apart which means it can't be packed up. Overall, you give up a smidgen of pizzazz from the likes of Graco and Evenflo but the cost/quality ratio is perfect with this one. And the little smaller size is perfect for those apartments and small houses. 5th star if they add a little more padding and make the mobile disassemble.

We bought this for a vacation rental and no one used it until yesterday. We had a hard time getting the top bars to lock. I emailed Baby Trend and they sent me a video. We were doing it wrong. So now it's working, but it's not the easiest thing to figure out. 4 different experienced people attempted to do this until we decided that the thing is dumb, but now after the video we got it to work.

It is a nice crib though and the price was good, so I recommend. Just make sure you don't push down on the middle when locking the bars.

Arrived as expected, and it was not difficult to set up. My 2-month-old began looking at the mobile soon after we put her in it, and it was easy for me to spin it and move it so she could enjoy it. I like the bassinet feature - easier on the back when picking her up in the middle of the night. In addition, the price was right, so we were able to order an extra to "live" at our relatives' home in another state, to be used when we visit. The little diaper sack on the side is convenient, though I have to be careful not to overload it.
