EDIT: I am adding two stars for great customer service. While I wouldn't recommend the Velcro version, the replacement snap version works great, so I recommend it, and Babykicks as a company for standing behind their product.
I loved that the Premium Pocket Diaper came with a hemp insert (those things are SO wonderfully absorbent!) and was really impressed by the folding technique that allows you to size this diaper perfectly for a newborn. My daughter is 11 months so I couldn't test it out myself, but the idea was brilliant. We had problems with other "one-size" diapers when my daughter was small, and this would have been a great solution--too bad I discovered them this late.
One feature that I haven't seen on other one-size diapers is the fleece leg gusset. Having soft fleece directly on baby's leg means 1. more comfort and 2. more breathability. The only problem being that this is the first bit to soak through when the diaper is full.
But my favorite part of this diaper is the fabric. BabyKicks usually use natural fibers, I've read, and the lining of these diapers is Bamboo Velour, which just looks like something you want to rub all over your face (which is what I did when it first came in the mail, haha, yup, totally serious).
Five out of five stars from me!
Bamboo Inner: Bamboo velour is the softest fabric ever, in my opinion. It stays super soft and doesn't get pilly or stiff, even with line drying. I prefer natural fibers in my diapers and they are hard to find in a pocket diaper for under $25.
Pocket Opening: I really, really dislike rear opening pockets, which is why I use very few pockets overall. Who likes having to reach through poop to unstuff a diaper? Ick! Fron't loading pockets seem so much less messy and the flap on this keeps the insert in well. Some folks with big hands might find the pocket opening a bit narrow but it's worth it!
Joey Bunz Insert: Hemp is where it's at for absorbency and the One Size Joey Bunz insert is amazing for absorbency and trimness.
Velcro: This is really my favorite thing about this diaper. I primarily prefer snap diapers because I hate how worn velcro looks after a short time, and the damage it can do to my other diapers. This velcro is amazing because it sticks to itself like glue but doesn't stick to anything else at all! The laundry tabs stay stuck through the wash and all my other diapers stay safe from snags.

I wanted to love this diaper. And I did love the insert. But its so much smaller than it should be for being a One Size Diaper. if it was longer, I would have loved it. Read morePublished 19 months ago by JL
After just 10 washes the Velcro has almost completely. Love the Babykicks premium diaper with snaps but would not recommend these.Published 22 months ago by Ann
Love the double gussets; the aplix was just okay, not as strong as I'd prefer. Was too small for our needs, unfortunately. Nice bright red color thoughPublished on June 7, 2014 by bd
I wasn't sure how the fleece leg gussets that they are so proud of would work but I tried anyone and they leaked and is pilled after 2 washes. Also, the aplix is very weak. Read morePublished on May 19, 2014 by K. Liberti

I like that this one is slimmer than some diapers. My daughter can still wear her normal clothes with it on.Published on September 15, 2013 by Abby K Meyer
