Perfect for keeping track of my baby’s feeding times, how much she ate, what we fed her (I use the place for sleep tracking to write in the box if she had formula (F) or breast milk (BM) and that works great for us specifically), and what her diaper was like. This helps me feel so much better and gives me a peace of mind that I can look back at the book and see how well she’s been eating and going to the bathroom. I do like that you can keep a record of all your baby’s shots, as well as, their growth between each doctor visit! Very pleased!! I’m almost on my second book now and plan to keep doing this for a while!

Oh my word I love this thing! My son spent a week in NICU when he was first born, and I was unable to feed him for the majority of that. So I had to pump, and take meticulous record of when he pooped/peed and how much, when he ate and how much and so on. When we got home I wanted to keep tracking so that I could make sure he was getting enough nutrients - as he had been on IV for a week and as such was very under weight.
Anyway, this book is set up very nicely. It is easy to track anything you would need for your little one. Every left page is a "notes" page where I tracked when I took my meds (since I had to time everything from waking my little one, feeding him, taking my own meds etc), and every right page is where you track their eating/pooping/peeing/sleeping times. It was very useful to have all of it together.
On top of that, the book is nicely made. You don't have to worry about losing pages, as they are quite thick and won't rip out. My oldest son has thrown that thing down the stairs, across the room, walked around holding just a few pages, just about anything short of throwing it in my toilet; and it has done just fine.
I am very glad I purchased this book; it has made my life a tiny bit easier with all the crazy of having a newborn.

I love this journal! I spent a lot of time researching all the different ones out there before settling on this one. It was great for keeping track of both nursing sessions and bottle feelings, and we are also able to record nap times so that we can see patterns and changes over time. I also like that the back of each page is blank for extra notes, so I use this area to jot down any special moments or milestones so I don't forget and can transfer them to the baby book later,
My son is a year old now, but I am still buying these journals because they are a great way for the nanny and I to share info with each other. When I get home I can see how he ate and napped even if I forget to ask her about it.
I have since bought this for other new moms and would recommend it to anyone, whether they are planning to breast or bottle feed

I wrote little notes to myself each day in the journal section of the page as a reminder of what we did each day. Looking back now, so many years later, i love reading what we did. I just gave this to a friend as a baby gift and she was so thankful. The small size makes it easy to tote around the house with you.

Ok... I know that you are wondering if you really need this. If you are a laid-back sort of parent, then no. If you are like me, and obsess over doing everything just right, then YES! My mom thinks I am a little crazy for writing everything down in here, but I LOVE IT! It makes me feel so much more in control, plus it really helps with the "mommy-nesia" that it's so easy to get. This way, when the baby is fussing and you can't figure out why, because, "He JUST ate!", you can look and see, "Oh... actually that was 2 hours ago." My baby had jaundice in the hospital because he wasn't getting enough to eat, so I am a little paranoid about logging it all. I don't really use the sleep portion at all, since my baby is awake and asleep every few minutes, but I can keep track of wet and dirty diapers (which is a fun way to determine whos turn it is to change him!) I love that every facing page is for "notes". I thought it was silly at first, but I use it to log pumping sessions, food I eat that seemed to make him fussy, and things to remember to ask the doctor about that may occur to me at 3 am. It's nice too, that if I have to leave him with grandma or grandpa I know how much and when he ate. I love that it is spiral bound, and lays flat, and is a good size (it tucks into a diaper bag easily). I wish it was cheaper and had more pages. I used ours up by four weeks. My husband suggested it would be cheaper to make our own speadsheet on a computer and keep them in a binder, but the size and convenience of this led me to order another one. I will continue to use this product at least until I've been back at work for a while and mellow out some. :)

This indispensable journal made it possible for a harried mommy-brain like myself keep track of all of the baby activity that was necessary to track in the early days/weeks/months of a new nursing infant with health issues. The format makes it simple to record all the regular feeding, sleeping, pooping activity and any other noteworthy items that may be important to record. It made it so easy to report to the doctor during our visits - We didn't need to remember anything with our scrambled sleep-deprived brains. We would simply hand over the book and it said everything the doctor needed to know. Not only a useful document, it was an oddly comforting thing for us new addled parents to record the information in this little book. It provided at least some level of validation that we were properly monitoring and caring for our child. We are really glad to have had this book and would recommend it to any parents of a new baby.

I love this book… I just ordered my 4th one. Baby is 9m old, and is on medicine twice a day until 18m. It helps me remember the medicine times each day (it can vary based on how long she sleeps). I’ve written down the new foods she has tried and the times, so I can track any reactions, I’ve recorded her milestones in it. I record when medicine dosages change. It’s also kinda neat to start in the first one and see how she went from 8ml feeds to 260ml feeds, and is introducing purées, solids, etc… I feel like I’m going to want to keep these books forever.
