Never written a review before, figured this CD and its sequel are so good that it's about time I start. I probably have 60+ Bach CDs and am one of those people who feel that Bach is, to quote Wagner, the most stupendous miracle in all music. Anyhow, I just don't understand how these two CDs don't get more recognition. They are very, very good and immensely enjoyable. And I say this as someone who doesn't particularly enjoy the harpsichord either. Listen to the music samples. The sequel CD is just as good. Would give 6 starts if possible. I stumbled onto these thanks to a review from a different Bach album (can't remember which one).
