It's been awhile since we've spent time with the Coach and his boys. Everyone is all grown up now with famlies of their own. It was nice to spend time with them again.
I really loved this book, it was a quick read but full of insights. When we met each of these guys in their own books they were already grown and while there where mentions of things that took place in their childhood that shaped them into the men they became the focus was more on their present and the women they were falling in love with, well and the Stalker, we can't forget about that.
As I've had the opportunity to interact with authors the past few years I'm always amazed at the amount of information they "know" about their characters, it influences their stories but doesn't make it into their books. This book is a wonderful glimpse of that process, here Kristy gives us a peek into that trove of knowledge about her boys that she knew, things that made them react they way the did, how they met. Each moment was a little Ahh moment, NOW I understand better why he was like that. What a treat.
I highly recommend this book, I do however recommend that you read books 1-7 first, you don't want to spoil all the suspense in the series by reading this one first.
