Quirky characters, many twists and turns and a truly memorable showdown will keep you entertained from page one right until the end.
A fun and easy read that I highly recommend. If you loved "Back to the Future", you'll love this book.
I was given an advance copy by the authors
Jo finds out what could have been after a wild night out of repressed Karaoke singing when she meets her other self Yohanna living her dream. A funny and frenetic story sure to give you a chortle and a sniffle. The Glastonbury Festival, a loopy guru, a homicidal 90's Pop Star and a flipping cow mix it up with our heroine and the chance at her dream life. Will she follow her heart and choose the right "Reality"? Buy the book and find out!
As mentioned in previous comments, this is a very funny combination of Freaky Friday and alternate realities.
Well written characters - quite funny to hear a 40-something woman talk out of a 20-something body.
Great exploration of what-ifs and nicely paced.
I don't want to go too much into the story here, but I liked it and can recommend it if you are looking for something not too deep and highly entertaining.
Warning: SPOILER ahead:
I would have liked for Jo's life to have a bit more impact after she came back. It is nice to learn to embrace what you have but it left me a bit feeling like I felt when I finished watching the horrible 'Jupiter Ascending' Movie. If you watched it, you'll know what I mean.
Jo just had the opportunity to see how her life could have been, but she really does nothing with it except singing in a bar every week. She still has so much more potential!
