"No one wraps us in humidity and surrounds us with saltwater like this guy! Michael Reisig takes us back to the Key West I wish I had known -- and others wish they remembered more clearly. Kansas and Will are back with their trademark penchant for sultry sarcasm and sun-drenched excitement, and once again Reisig captures The Keys in a way that proves he's been there -- and perhaps done that."
"Stumbling their way in and out of trouble and fortune, Kansas Stamps and Will Bell continue to be the idols of what every true Parrot Head imagines real life in The Keys would be -- full of spontaneous adventure. What a great read!"
Having lived in Key West in the late '70's and early '80s, when shrimp boats filled the harbors and square grouper were still an abundant species, Michael Reisig's Back On The Road To Key West takes me back in time!
The original thrill-seekers are back in Reisig's latest hair-raising, quest-filled adventure. This laugh-out-loud tale is packed with even more mystery, treasure, romance, and narrow escapes. A five-star" experience!
From the Author
I have always believed that to write good adventure stories one has to have experienced adventure.

It's almost like he's trying to be in the Florida funny boys' club which is pretty full. Nevertheless, it was still hugely entertaining and really too well-written for the caliber of the story. All this criticism aside, it's a pretty funny, wild adventure and I would definitely read other things by the author. Oh and BTW, if you're offended by shallow sexist portrayal of women, you'll definitely want to avoid this one. I don't like it but I'll suffer through it. He does throw in a few little hints that they can form a sentence or two.
