This story is well written. It flows smoothly and you can understand it easily. The characters are well written and you can relate to the well.
Dr. Donna Jacobs life has fallen apart personally and professionally. She needs to start over fresh and in peace. Her sister convinces her to move close to her in small town south where everyone knows everyone and it is a close knit community. Her sister and her husband found her a home and even a building she could take over as a clinic to start her life anew. On the drive to her new home Donna gets a flat tire. A mysterious stranger stops to help her.
Hank Bradley is her daughter's kindergarten teacher. He is a former jock who hurt his knee and, since his degree was in education, he is starting new as a teacher. His schools new interim principal is a barracuda who has set her sights on Hank no matter how Hank tries to avoid her. When he declines her advances, she sets about to make her life miserable.
When Donna meets Hank, she realizes he was her knight in shining armor when she had the flat. Although she feels an attraction to him, she fights it with every breath she can. And for the rest folks, you really have to read the book.
Yes there are a few sex tease scenes in this story. There is one actual sex scene in this story. It's a romance folks. What would a romance be without sex?
I recommend this book for 19 on up.
Donna was just trying to start over and avoid any more relationships like she had with her ex. When she meets Hank, he is the same type of guy, or so she thinks, so she wants nothing to do with him. At least, that's what her mind says. Her body says something very different, and she has to decide who to listen to.
Hank has the same attraction to her, and he wants to pursue that. When an old dream looks to possibly come true, he has to decide.
I loved it, and recommend it.
There was lots of gooey, "hot" talk, but a quick read. I felt sorry for the poor guy who was bashed because of his skill set!
So if you are looking for a book to travel with this is definitely the one.
