How to Backpack with Your Parents Paperback – April 5, 2019
Enhance your purchase
At twenty-five, Chris prepared to leave his entry-level job for law school and adulthood. An avid traveler, he planned one last great adventure to the edges of the Andes and Amazon as a farewell trip to his youth. Then the unexpected happened – his sixty-year-old Midwestern parents asked if they could tag along. How to Backpack with Your Parents is an incredible true story about how we come to appreciate the lessons of life and grow as individuals. It is a tale about the unbreakable bond between parents and their children and how we learn to love our family in new ways over time.

What a great read! It was interesting learning a bit about hiking and backpacking, since I've never been. The experience in itself sounds exhilarating! The relationship between the parents and son through this shared experience was also wonderful to see. A nice, easy read that I'd recommend to anyone- of all ages!
