Evangeline (Evan) Pallida is fierce, determined and unapologetically ruthless. A criminal defense lawyer, it looks like Evan has sold her soul to the devil to come out on top. Convincing everybody, including herself that her nasty, superficial and insincere nature is the real deal, it is nothing short of a surprise when Lincoln Granade steps on the scene and shakes Evan to her very core.
Lincoln Granade is gorgeous, intriguing and as equally twisted as Evan. With his eyes on the prize, he is determined to bring the wrath of the Justice System on Evan and everything she represents. Set out to beat her at her own game, Lincoln is thrown off-kilter when he lays eyes on her and the game suddenly changes. A match made in hell Lincoln and Evan’s chemistry explodes right off every page.
Attracting readers with its unique cover and bold title, Bad Bitch is the perfect combination of physical and intellectual chemistry. Told in alternate points of view, readers get to experience the unrepentant inner monologue of both Evan and Lincoln. Writing characters that are not for the faint hearted, Saunders’ ability to turn moments of heat into moments of heart will have you both impressed and undoubtedly addicted. Setting the standard for the rest of the series, Bad Bitch assures readers with confidence, that this is the beginning of a great series.
Oh but don't get me wrong, it's because of her mind that I'm falling in love with her.
This is going to be praise to a brilliant author and her brilliant book, so I will advise you to get your gag reflexes under control, because I’m going to shove my enthusiasm down your throat.
When I bought this book, I was pretty sure what I was getting myself into; a lot of hot sex scenes and a lot of hilarious dialog. I did get that, but what I also got was a story with a well thought out plot and some very well developed characters. Especially Evan, who seems unlikable at first, but underneath her hard exterior, she was a delicate flower, with all the same needs as the rest of us. Don't judge a book by its cover.
The writing was flawless and flowed easily - I was hooked from the first word. Christina Saunders has a way with words that keeps me spellbound throughout the book and she never eases her grip around my feelings. I love how she makes the characters come alive and I could almost feel Lincoln’s slap on Evan’s behind on myself and wanted to shout: "more, more please!"
I just can’t get enough of Christina Saunders and I want more, more, please!
Lucky me, I’ve got the next book in the series waiting for me.
The story is well-written, intriguing, interesting and entertaining. The plot is okay, and the characters are excellent. However, I had a hard time connecting with Evan but I adored Lincoln and the chemistry between this two.
This is a quick, fast-paced read in which you can find romance, suspense, action and drama. I love learning about how vulnerable but guarded both of them were because of their past history/demons.
This book is part of a series, but can be read as standalone. I'm looking forward for the next installment.
