A MUST-READ story!!!!

Over my winter vacation, I read the book BAD COMPANY, Chantelle Taylor's riveting account of her experience serving as the lead British Army medic at a Company Aid Post in southern Afghanistan. Her story is immediately gripping as it centers on how a routine patrol to a small, isolated patrol base turned into a seven-week siege. She writes a revealing, witty, and refreshingly frank description of the perils her Company, and accompanying Afghan soldiers, face as they defend their base against a constant onslaught of Taliban attacks. This admirable -- and at times tear-jerking -- narrative turns legendary when she describes shooting a Taliban fighter dead, becoming the first woman to engage in close quarter combat with the enemy. This is a MUST-READ story for all!!!!

A FANTASTIC READ

Format: Paperback

Just this minute finished it with tears in my eyes. What a brilliant read, started last night and couldn't put it down till I fell asleep. Sat down a couple of hours ago and read the rest straight through. Have never done that before. Brilliant writing, great structure, amusing, enlightening, thrilling, eye-opening and extremely touching.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
